I got vibe checked by this game recently after play the much easier smtV (the original V not vengeance). I’m quite far into my first NG+ (around the time where you can fight the trumpeter) and i was grinding in the 3rd kalpa to not get obliterated by said fiend’s famous insta kill.

Dante targeted/instant-killed me in a humiliating way too. 😭😭😭It was during my second playthrough of the original SMTN release. I was at Level 99 with a Level 99 party then, so naturally I went in feeling cocky during the labyrinth bit. Didn't even save for a long while. Then Dante managed to tag me while I was lighting up the flames. We went into a random fight encounter. Again, I'm at level 99 with a level 99 badass team so I didn't think much of it. Dante must've wanted to school me that day because, as soon as the fight started, he specifically targeted ME first and instant-killed me with his Stinger move. 😩

People absolutely refuse to call out the artificial difficulty for what it is

Tornado is really useful through the whole early to mid game with Boost I was doing 274 damage to groups of enemies Also hard mode is a bitch in nocturne. Either the bosses kill you or the crazy ass amount of random encounter and ambushes will.

i became a fan of persona last year and now i want to try smt (specifically nocturne), and this clip makes me both excited and scared at what i could possibly be getting into (especially since i suck at difficult games, but i'll still give it a shot anyway)
