what a gift. when i was 15 i was already pretty up on music but hearing the original version of this song was like hearing music for the first time. it's only gotten more powerful as i understand my own heart and its need for a warrior princess. this version has the same impact on this old three-legged bitch today.

Incredible! The way it built from one story to the next climaxing with The Idiot and then the coda with My Birth predicting modern infatuation with fame and cannibalisation for clout is similar to the structure of Swans albums.

I assumed that finding the f was a reference to harmonizing the note into a chord and the title was some evidence of the experimentation going on in their production...like maybe the song was never "properly" titled because the music was the crux of its life not the need to be packaged. That said I have not idea how that assumption would apply musically and i don't know how to read music. So it was pure assumption not any kind of engineering analysis.

I decided about a year ago to learn to let go of all of my existential obligations. It's a slippery slope ideal but it doesn't necessarily mean intentionally failing to pursue them. ITs more like reminding myself that I don't really owe the world and even myself anything more than I believe I do and am willing to afford to deliver. Also it is not an escape from consequences but it does involve an acceptance of them.
