Did you ever fix it or plan on selling it?
i did not fix it i have been busy with new business i will probably end up selling it
Try a rest on the window before replacing. Hold the button down until the window is all the way down, and then continue to hold for five seconds, do the same for rolling up but hold the button up.
Cam sensors on both banks.

Nice car(too bad you sold it already), almost exactly like my '04, except I've got the 6-speed manual. Love driving the car. I prefer to work on my own vehicles, and this car is about as complicated as I want to get as a DIY'er. Cheers!
I've got an 06 ser Its most likely a bad valve body. Its a common issue with the 5speed autos. I went through 2 of them before i switched to a Level10 valve body. 6 years later, no issues.
where did you get the level10 valve body from ?
@@MoeH83 Darren at Nisformance got it for me and installed it when I upgraded my engine to the 2nd gen DE .
Run some seafoam trans tune for a couple hundred miles on it Open your drain pan and change those 3 big solenoids AFTER you change yhe fluid THOROUGHLY and you have to change the fluid 3 or 4 times THEN change the Solenoids! , it will fix it I have a Ebony SE-R and a Smoke Grey SE-R

I have the dumbest problem. I can’t get the bulb unplugged. There’s a clip and I don’t know how to unclip it without breaking it. None of the videos explain this part.
are you talking about the small metal clip , if so its just clipped on from both sides just push its inward on both side and it should release. if it does not get a small pair of pliers and do the same to give you some leverage... hope its helps

yes i think they are great cars especially if its a good deal, just not the best on gas but overall great luxury car with great power.....
Man that car is one of a kind tbh, they only ever made one SER altima model and it's slept on so much, I'm waiting to buy mine soon and turn it into a project car, I'd love to own one, you really don't see much of them on the road at all.
Yes its cool car for sure but resale value in the market is not great 🙁
@@MoeH83 for sure every month or so a new SER will go on sale on marketplacefor like around 3-6k and always has high miles of course, I'm just waiting to get one soon

you youngons worry about the wrong thing that is a bad as car and the only one nissan put there heart and soul in.
Gotta ask if you’re certain that whining noise is power steering. It could possibly be a transmission whine. When the transmission went in my old civic before I got rid of it, in park it would whine like crazy, a lot louder than your car, but it would quiet down in drive and reverse, almost sounded like this. Trans was shifting poorly and slipping for a long time before it actually quit. From what I can tell it seems like your car shifts okay under acceleration it’s just the rough or jerking downshift we see. Maybe try another drain and fill of transmission fluid, you only get about half or so out with each drain, that might help it. Either way nice car and good video!
Hey thank you yah love the red on it … Im pretty certain the noise is power steering because its also leaking when i refill it the noise improves but comes back after it loses the fluid.
Its most likely solenoids try replacing camshaft and crankshaft sensors...i bought an o6 maxima last owner replaced transmission twice and the whole time the issue was the crankshaft sensor and yes keep it
Did you have a check engine light at all ? I never had a engine light
@MoeH83 i didn't get a check engine light, but i got it after driving with the issue for about 3 days. Doesn't hurt to replace them 1auto sells quality camshafts sensors and i bought crankshaft from advanced auto ntk brand....after that if it doesn't work try the solenoids and valve body i wish i knew that before getting my other maxima transmission rebuilt
@@MoeH83 Did you end up keeping it? Def try new nissan cam and/or crank sensors. My auto had hard shift sometimes and ended up being 1 of those sensors.

The trans isn't usually bad. The shift solenoids are a common problem. I've fixed many of them. When they shift hard it will break the motor mounts also. I like buying the 2004-6 altima maximas for cheap due to this issue. easy fix.

I just bought another ZHP that looks like yours. Mine has suspension damage. I made a video about it. The steering wheel and shift knob are factory. Someone painted the lower portion of the steering wheel trim though. It wears out, so people often paint them with paint or Plastidip. That oil light is likely your oil level sensor needing to be replaced. I've replaced it once. Easy to do. You will need to so it when you change your oil. The factory headunit isn't good. There are two really good aftermarket options though. Look completely factory, too. Eonon and Dynavin. Dynavin is the nicer unit but the Eonon is a nice inexpensive upgrade.

@Mike hachem You're right. They are climbing in value. They are a special car, in my opinion. The first one I bought, that I still own, I bought for $1500 in 2017. 6-spd sedan 181K miles. Ran and drove. Just needed a lot of maintenance. This new one I bought was $3500 but it come with lots of spare parts. E46 M3 seats, two extra sets of ZHP wheels, newer Bilstein shocks and H&R springs, Alcantara interior swap, extra set of HID headlights, and several other parts that I might sell. It also had over $7500 in maintenance receipts over the past 4 years. How much did you pay?

@Mike hachem Keep your eyes open. You'll find a set. Just ve ready to pounce when you do. One thing I've learned over the past 25 years of modding cars is there is always certain desirable cars/ car parts. Never hurts to buy some and hold on to them. I've been buying up car parts even for cars I don't even own yet. Lol
In a lot of infinites the crankshaft position Sensor goes out cause hard starts, roughly running engine, and sometimes no starts. Had the same thing on my m35 where I would have to pump the gas 3-4 times and it would start. But that’s just one symptom check the fuel system as well that’s another thing.

@@JosehinaHernandez behind the climate control panel when you remove it there is a white module that needs to be replaced, i got a used one from the junk yard. look at the video i show a picture of it

I thought I fixed the issue by disconnecting the battery but that only worked for while and the issue came back but I'm going to be putting in another climate control module and see if that helps ill make a update video on it

so few days ago i pulled the positive side of the battery and pumped the gas 4 times to my suprise the fx start up now ok the first try... i also read there is also a temprature module that might be effecting it from starting.
finaly figured it out it was the climate control unit ill have a video on it

just unplug the 1 sensor at time and do trial and error
Great video, I hearing a lot of mixed reviews saying that bank 1 is on the driver side and bank 2 is on the passenger side on a 2008 m35x, can someone confirm is this is true or not?
Update: bank 1 is on the passenger side just under the vacuum Bank 2 is on the driver side just under the throttle body.

bank 1 is the passenger side on m35, on the Infiniti v8 bank 1 is driver side
