Some of my favorite scenery from a year of trail riding all over Colorado.
Timberline Trail, Hard Enduro Singletrack on Dual Sport XR650L
มุมมอง 8K3 ปีที่แล้ว
A few highlights of the Timberline Trail in Taylor Park, Colorado. This was the first singletrack I'd even ridden after I stumbled upon it years ago with a rented enduro. This day I rode the entire 50 mile trail on my XR650L consisting of tight a rocky singletrack within high elevation forest (elevations from 9,000 to 12,500 feet).

XR650R and XR650L in the Rain at Rampart Range Colorado Riding OHV Trails Offroad Dirtbiking

Arrived at Rampart Range early Sunday afternoon 7/19/20, the rain started as soon as we hit the dirt. We only got in about an hour of riding on the doubletrack before it started storming worse and we decided to pin it back to the truck to wait it out the rain but we eventually went home.

Nice, these hikes kick ass for hard enduro untill you drop it a couple times 😂. But if you trust the momentum you can really haul though some technical stuff

I trailered my dirt bikes to Moab from the east coast and had so much fun everyone needs to go there, the only thing is I’m afraid of heights and a lot of the trails scared the shit out of me but man it was like riding on mars, best time ever

I got a brand-new Blue/Green 4 speed in 1970. We had over 5 kids around town with them and would ride to the Hodaka shop over 40 miles from home on Saturdays. I just found the same year and colour on marketplace and picked it up, it had been sitting in a barn for 20 years. My grandson and I rebuilt the carburetor, and it started first kick. Sold my original CT to buy a Hodaka.

I just got my '23 XR650L Yesterday. Was super excited to watch your video, and I have a couple questions... What exhaust do you run? Have you done Dave's Mod, and/or what Jetting are you running? I live in Idaho, about 4750 feet, and my riding goes from ~2500 on the low end to ~10000 at the VERY tippy top... I generally am 4000-6000 mainly.

I really enjoyed this video. when I was a little kid my parents bought me a blue CT 70. its been so long that I didn't remember that it was four down. I remember that I wanted the one with the clutch. but my parents thought it would be hard for me to learn how to use it. so they got me the one without the clutch. and then a few months later my friend down the street got the lime green one and it had a clutch. and I tried his bike and within a few minutes I was using the clutch no problem. and I was pissed at my parents that I didn't have the one with the clutch. but I never told them that. and then a couple years later they were getting me a new bike. I had to clean the dinner table and do the dishes for six months to get it. and I wanted the Honda 100. but when they went to the dealer they didn't have one in stock. and they said it would be around three weeks to get it in stock. and then my parents said to me. if you want a bike today you can get the SL 70. and when you are a little kid three weeks seemed like an eternity. so I got the SL 70. but as soon as I went down the street on it I was disappointed because the engine felt identical except for it having a clutch. and I wanted more power, and my entire life I've beat myself up for not waiting the three weeks to get the 100. your video brought back allot of memories. I used to ride that CT 70 on the trails everyday. I loved that time in my life.

What kind of mount do you have on your helmet for your camera? It's a great perspective, you can see your head and the bike all bobbing around, helps emphasize the gnarliness of the terrain

Those bentonite hills are insanely steep, really fun watching you ride the top of those things! They are scary even hiking on, can't imagine taking a bike up there, let along an XR650L with the height and weight.

For the real, authentic CT70 experience, you need to have a young police officer chasing you, but you get away by going off-road and slicing throught the trees where he cannot follow!
