It is a milestone in the development of limiting the rights of the central government (in this case the king). I wonder if there have been studies about the first people to raise their hand to ask questions. The moderator here made it very clear that they only had time for a couple short questions. The first person to raise his hand of course has two questions, and then pauses in disappointment when he is told he can only ask one. I didn't get through his entire question because it was a speech. I would argue that people like this are not interested in the answer to the questions they are asking. They are simply letting the speaker and the whole audience know how smart they are. 😊

In response to the Treaty of Nice being unlawfully granted royal assent (which covertly left out our codified constitution and was treasinously passed into law), a committee of 68 barons got together in 1999 and lawfully (re) invoked Article 61 of the Magna Carta 1215, on 23rd March 2001. Since no one in authority has publicly revoked this invocation of Article 61 of the Magna Carta 1215, then common law takes presidence, and all acts and statutes of parliment are null and void from that date, because the Queen broke her coronation oath and gave up her sovereignty and her right to authorise royal assent. Tony Blair repealed the 1795 treason act in 1998 from capital punishment to life in prison, and now we know why. Ask this question to police and courts if you're ever stopped or taken to task for not obeying "acts and statutes" - "I stand under common law, so do you have authority to make a demand on me since Article 61 of the Magna Carta 1215 was invoked on 23rd March 2001?". Anyone in office who publicly denies Article 61 of the Magna Carta 1215 is committing sedition, and anyone in office who acts against you under commercial law (acts and statutes of parliment), is committing high treason.

To view Magna Carta as a "peace treaty" is incredibly myopic and misses themost salient point of the document. Magna Carta contains the genesis of the concept of due process of law. Magna Carta contains the following language (translated from Latin of course): "No freeman shall be taken, or imprisoned, or be disseised of his Freehold, or Liberties, or free Customs, or be outlawed, or exiled, or any otherwise destroyed; nor will we pass upon him, no condemn him, but by lawful Judgment of his Peers, or by the Law of the Land. We will sell to no man, we will not deny or defer to any man either Justice or Right." This is from whence the concept of Due Process originated. I am a retired judge from the state of Montana in the US and served on the bench for 26 years and handled more that 30,000 cases in that time. I can say that I myself, as a trial judge , as did my fellow judges, always asked myself during the course of any criminal case "Has the prosecution carried their burden and conformed their actions to the requirement of the law in this proceeding?" This injunction derives directly from the language cited above. It has real, every day impact on massive numbers of people arouond the world every day. It limits and restricts the power of the government to abuse its power and it protects citizens from governmental overreach. It might be viewed as a peace treaty by this lecturer, but it is immeasurably much more that that. I feel that it denegrates this magnificent document to relegate it to the level of a mere peace treaty. Outrageous.

I was reading lately this interesting presentation. However I am not sure if Joseph Stiglitz has made a connection between the Keynesian economics and current globalization. It looks that the money issued by the national banks over the years in order to create inflation has now to be spread on markets around the world to overcompensate . What would happen when this markets can't be used to expand into them anymore ?
