Ferterra and virtako both are used to control steam borer in rice. Ferterra contain chlorantraniliprole 0.4% granules formarmation.virtako syngenta contain both chlorantraniliprole 0.5% and thiomithaxime 1%.

10G granules contain chloripyriphos and 4G granules contain cartap hydrochloride used to control steam borer and bollwarm in all crops and 3g granules contain carbofuran used to control steam borer and bollwarm also effectively control verukullu, modalu kullu and fungal disease.

In paddy field fertilizers management play a crucial role. 1 acre paddy field required (total duration means transplantation to harvesting ) 36 kgs nitrogen, 24 kgs phosphorus and 30kgs potassium and also use zinc sulphate 20kg per acre for every two crops

In paddy after transplantation 3-20 days there are no of weedicides available for control weeds. 3-5 days use pretilchlor 50 500ml per acre and 15-20days bis pyribac sodium 100ml per acre and pyrazosulfuron ethyl 10% wp are commonly used weedicides.
