Allison Cornell performs 'Not Here, Now Now' by Joe Jackson
This wonderful version of Joe Jackson's 'Not Here, Not Now' (from his 1984 album 'Body And Soul') is by Allison Cornell who sadly passed away in February 2024. She has toured with Joe several times.
Unfortunately, the video fades out early. If a longer version of this video exists I would like to hear about it.

Beyond brilliant!!! I just love Joe Jackson and all the artists he surrounds himself with!!! Many thanks for sharing.
Oh gosh... I didn't know Allison had passed either. I saw her with Joe on the Night Music tour in 94. She was always one of my favourite of his collaborators. What a true talent and gone far too young 😢
His rendition of Girl was first class
This is what happens when a non musician, tv personality interviews a musician. Cringe.
that Bass tone.

Long time fan of Joe, I've got a good sturdy American copy. 😂😅
Whoever remastered this deserves the goldest of gold stars. All magnificent, but that duet with Jane Siberry…holy moly..
One of my favorite JJ albums. What a band! The sound person deserves a raise.
For this time period a fascinating summation!!! I love Heaven and Hell!!!!!
super clever arrangement. Joe is grossly under-rated
Precious versions of classics.

Haunting rendition of Joe Jackson’s song!
My favorite living composer. He's just...Joe.
What an incredible arrangement of "It's Different for Girls!"
Haven't head about Joe Jackson before few moths ago, but now I'm a big fan!
Such a great inspiration to me. Beautiful music. Thanks Joe.
Joe’s no-guitar lineup still rocks on the earlier songs
Adore this man Seen him twice .Took our 23 year old son and he was blown away .Looking forward to seeing him in Bath this year .This man is a musical genius
Genius
And I'm too young to die 😢
Shit, I didn't even know Allison passed away. That's a big loss. She was always nice. Rest in peace, Alli.
A genius! I am 10 years younger, I know him since his first album. Lost track after his third album, I think. He is coming to Norfolk, VA mid-June. Can't wait.
Nice version from JJ live
Uhh…what happens exactly at 9:40? For Joe’s sake I hope that was just an odd audio glitch in the upload! Jesus!

Always stood out did Joe for me. Different authentic genius and real. I'm glad to find this.
Strummer was the son of a high-ranking civil servant. His mother was the daughter of a Scottish crofter.
What a lovely human being. Everything I thought and more. Would be lovely to sit down and have a cup of tea with .
