Yep early model Type R box, so 4.4FD, and yeah it's quite tall zzz.. I have just bought a shorter ratio 3-4-5 and 1.5 way diff

@@afx31_ Ok. I run ITR 1st/2nd with Mfactory 3/4/5, 5th is 1:1. 4.4fd with Kaaz plate LSD.

Ahh the crash was annoying. Left front wheel came off! She rev’s up for sure. But it’s a serious B18C build. Darton sleeves, B18 crank, 13.5:1 JE pistons, etc etc. Does 166fwkw on SK2 Pro1+ cams.

@@afx31_ How did you get the gear indicator on the dash? what sensor or like did you use on the g'box? Or is it a maths channel?

@@wilko3sgem I have a Hondata S300, it determines gear by speed/rpm and this is configured by default on the CAN. The dash is a custom thing I built, reading the CAN from Hondata I think you might need to configure gear ratio's for a correct gear reading, as I didn't tune the car myself I didn't do that so I may be wrong here

@@afx31_ Thanks. Its Ok, I've got a Haltech on my B18C and I'll use what is called a Math's Channel. This will calculate the speed/rpm same as yours. I just thought you might have had some sort of g'box output doing the same. Cheers.

@@wilko3sgem I origianlly had planned to do some form of a sensor to have the readout, after realising Hondata already calc'd it and had it configured on the CAN I just went with that. Works quite well!

@toddxhiggins thanks Todd! I feel the ratios aren't the best for where I'm using 2nd gear T9/T10, as per description I need to push towards 3rd instead I upgraded GoPro earlier this year to a GoPro 11, well worth the upgrade!

@@afx31_ ahhh, better than mine though. I'm hitting limiter into T3, into the sweeper and into the dogleg. Need a couple hundred more rpm ideally

Thanks mate, agreed need some reinforcement on the floor for the seat. Shakey GoPro was because I bought a new one and turned off the anti shake mode by accident

Thanks Todd! It's just the shifter flying about. I've installed the hardrace alloy bushing kit but it flops around a lot. Next step would be the Hybrid complete shifter assembly

Yeah... was trying a few different tactics on corners throughout the day to see which were faster. Full sending is always fun, probably should have grabbed 4th just before T3 and followed through, then downshifted to 3rd prior T4, for example

Thanks mate! Yeah it seems the Honed Kit does the job, I already have my kit at my house it was initially waiting for me to enter the 1.09s. Congrats on your pb as well! You were flying around the track. I watched your vid just before and the car looks incredibly stable and responsive!

Nah its just the alloy shifter bushings, they tend to make noise if I shift hard

Also, try staying in 4th until after T3, you should find it is faster than 3rd gear.
