When are people going start realising that unless you are prepared to work on machinery the correct way then leave it alone, Using this so called jb weld is a recipe fore disaster and before long working with high pressure systems like hydraulics can kill you.

That’s not a power adder. It’s used to vent the exhaust out.

Hi, I just did a search on safari and they have quite a bit of info on the Hensley H-875, including service manuals etc on a side AG-KITs

Insley Excavators and Cranes made in Indianapolis,IN..last ones off the line were in the early 1980's..they were bought out by Badger then Terex..

No es lo mismo un coche o moto, que las excavadoras que llevan tubos con aceite hidráulico a una altísima presión. Los tubos de goma, a pesar de llevar una malla de acero, se pudren por el tiempo y en caso de rotura lo de menos va a ser mancharse porque te pueden hacer mucho daño, desde dejarte ciego a matarte.

You need to pull valve cover on any setting detroit and be sure rack free

Blower not so much for power but to make the 2 stroke work

Clean the growth and crap before starting. Don’t try to talk so damned much, just do the work. Get better prepared to do this type rescue. Watch other videos and follow their sequence. Fix or have fixed the hose leaks don’t half ass things. You will get better. Good luck and stay safe. Put your glasses on or take them off.

Not a supercharger...a blower. This engine needs it to run. Doesn't necessarily add any power like a supercharger would

Hi, I just found your channel. With respect , I would like to highlight, one thing you, and most people, making, this type of video seem to forget. You should always clean up your work area. You are wallowing in weeds and dirt. It's best practice clean up before you start. Otherwise a good video👍.

Love the video man! Interesting fact about those old detroits is they have to have that blower to run as a 2 stroke diesel won’t have any intake vacuum without it (I have a good friend with an old 253 Detroit Deere Dozer and that’s how I figured that one out!)
