I have the opportunity to buy one of this for 150€ with some spare parts and bodies. I plan on getting the old mt4 g3 electronics in it. Did you have too much trouble trying to find parts for this car? I live in Europe if that matters.

My 1/14 rlaarlo 3s truggy likes to shit off on a hard hit . Usually a roll or lawn dart . It’s happened a few times . Them aging it’s not the best jumper for a 1/14 compared to the carbon fiber Omni terminator likes to jump and lands smooth for me . Rear diff cups wear quick but they’re still going on the originals .

I appreciate the in-depth review. For anybody wondering more quickly what's the theme on this video. 11:33 Basically the default motor that comes with it has a unique 25mm motor shaft. Most motors seem to come with a 20mm shaft or somewhere around there which isn't long enough to fit here with your pinion. So if you're looking to eventually replace the motor, it'll be difficult with that thick motor mount block. if you plan on keeping the motor as is with the Machette, I'm assume it's fine. I'll let TKSHobby expand on that point further if he wants to. Thanks for the heads up on this. It's not an issue for me as I don't see myself replacing the motor but I imagine for some people that'd be a deal breaker. Seems like we need Redcat, or some aftermarket maker to make a machined version of that motor mount just a hair thinner to accommodate the more standard 20mm shafts. If someone does that, problem solved. Or if a company doesn't do it, need someone in the community really good with a scanner or Fusion 360 and model an exact version, but thinner, STL file (that's a 3d print file) one can then send off to the multiple companies that will machine your part for you. I don't think you'd want to test a part like that with a 3d print only. But IDK. some filaments are fairly strong.

Do you or have you considered using a glitch buster? The recceiver may not be sending enough power to the servo? They're (glitch busters) way cheaper than a BEC , it worth a chance before you replace the servo? Just a thought, i use them in everything just as a precaution.

I have a Hobao Hyper pro st that I converted to brushless 3 years ago and it is a tank. The Hobao Hyper pro st was way ahead of it's time durability wise. I have the newer Hobao Hyper ST like the one here and unfortunately it is nowhere near as solid as the older model Hobao, it's still a good truggy but is definitely a downgrade compared to the older version.

How did you attach the gps speedometer to the car ?? I just bough if the same one

Just wait til you can set it free in a field with fresh cut smooth grass on 6s . This style is choice with the heavier balooning tires ? I always wondered what Milne would be like on an inside track designed for this size car . Probably freaking awesome . I used some landscaping screen to cover the fans to keep blades of grass out of the fans . They ll shut the fan down and you won’t even know sometimes . Any screen would be great but not if a blade of grass can go through it . The shoe goo on the screws and set it on top , it will stay . Just the tiniest bb sized on the screw sticking up does it for me . I do them all a few weeks ago since it was free

She drives straight but them little ones on a slightly sloped street . They slope the street a couple degrees for water runoff to the sewers so one side will sway opposite the other on my streets. I can see a similar slope there but we both have plenty of room . Don’t let it lawn dart . It will break or bend something once in a while . This is the one I’d get , the asuga . It’s $600 I think .

0:21 haha , yeah man 👍👍. That s one of my ramps too . I haven’t got fancy with a ski slope jumper yet but I did build one with some ply wood . All you need is an another side , close or shorter , 2 or 3 old door hinges or a piano hinge , I used a vibrating multi tool to take off the peak edges for nice take off . Comes right off 1/4” or so , ez as pie this build . Closed it , made some lines on the side and drilled for 2” screws to hold the sides . This way it can be folded up and adjusted with some of that steel strapping with the holes ( small hole , bigger hole about 1/2 or more wide . The steel pieces and the screws should be equal on both sides . This way height can be set to the lowest angle or the break your RC angle . You will figure this out . I wanted somethjng I could easily move around . This one folds up like a small card table . I ll bet everyone’s first ramp was a piece of plywood or drywall over a large brick or whatever 😂.

5:04 I have the 5th scale version of those fans and I was also really surprised how fast they run! 😧 And that’s with the ESC set at 6v, I can’t imagine if it’s cranked up to 7.4 or 8.4v. I think it would probably rip the blades off the hub of the motors didn’t fry at 8.4. Looking back at the Amazon listing, it is rated at 8.4, however. But like you said, who knows how long they will last cranked up like that.

It's a race style platform, anyone who knows anything knows that race platforms are the toughest rigs, but good luck getting a newb basher to buy a roller or kit chasis so they never find out that most of the main bashers are based on 8th buggy/truggy platforms anyway. I bash my tlr buggy with all the big bashers and most days it's the only thing still running at the end of the session 😂.

I dont want a chevy cavalier with ARRMA wheels, I'd rather have a Toyota or Honda. This is how I approach my RC purchases. Nobody in the hobby I know owns this mediocre brand. Stop pushing cheap shit, if I wanted something like this, I'd go on Amazon.

Yup, I run mine with a 3s 450 mAh lipo... Sometimes 2 in parallel. This came with my AM-X12, but it's aslo an option for most of the carbon chassis Rlaarlo rigs. It's my 2nd backup now. My main is the DumboRC DDF-350, & the other is DumboRC X-6. All capable of running a 2s or 3s lipo, but I'd like to find other chemistries that fit. I found some foams on Amazon & Ali-Express that fit. There are vids online on how to do it. Yes, it definitely works with DumboRC receivers.
