Adrian couldn’t sustain it though. Marcus is an incredible vocalist who seems to have a very solid vocal technique that will last way longer.

@@The_JustJoshing that right. But just like people love first Slipknot albums, lotta people still prefer Adrians screams. Both Corey at first albums and Adrian did screams that were less fake and more real. Unfortunately, it takes its toll - both Corey and Adrian had serious vocal issues

That’s not really fair to say. They’re a fucking collective, they all define the eras of Northlane whether any of those individuals are still in the band or not. Adrian was really talented and passionate but not just in music, he was studying psychology around the time he joined Northlane, I’m pretty sure it’s a 5 years or less course but he had to drop out early cause that’s when discoveries come out and he had like about a year or two of touring already scheduled and mapped out. Listening to the first two albums definitely makes me miss Adrian in Northlane but at the same time it was probably the best thing he could do. I went to some of his last performances in Brisbane and Sydney and he was really struggling, he was barely even moving on stage like he used to which just showed how fucking burnt out he looked from all those years of constant touring and blowing his voice out. By the end of the sets he sounded fucked and I could tell he was putting too much pressure on his vocals, he had to chuck the mic into the crowd cause he couldn’t even get a breath out. Northlane is an amazing band with or without Adrian even he still knows that otherwise he’d never join Northlane in the first place but when it comes to your health, some shit Is a lot more important than music.

@@benookand4141 do you know why he left the band? because it hurts when he screams, he didn't want to damage his voice, that's why he avoids intense vocals. he's great in my opinion, my all-time favorite vocalist. it's not a competition, but if you compare how Adrian sang ''Dream Awake'', and how Marcus did it, it's honestly just terrifying. Marcus doesn't share the same perspective of the world as Adrian did, Adrian seemed like such a genuine person, opening many people's eyes, mine included.

Bring back Adrian :(

@@skrrt6975 On the other hand, Adrian doesn't share Marcus's viewpoint, so if they swapped places, and, let's say, Adrian was the one trying to appease the ravaging fanbase, he probably wouldn't be able to pull off, idk, Details Matter as well as Marcus can.

@@skrrt6975 mate all you are talking from is your own opinion and viewpoint you or i dont know adrian, youve just settled with preferring him more which is totally fine, but from a talent perspective he is outclassed by marcus and i dont give two fucks what anyone says about that because its true. Adrian had passion for the songs he wrote there was emotional attachment which was genuine where with marcus performing adrian era songs he doesnt share that same passion due to that fact? That doesnt inherently make marcus bad nor should he receive the amount of hate he gets from hardcore northlane andy's, its pathetic the music is amazing regardless revel in both and enjoy it for fuck sake its a stale ass story that needs to be closed and accepted.
