I find it’s much better to run it through aum and use a proper compressor or limiter saturator
what vsts you like to use when making? i really like the soft touches and the bell higher end stuff you put in

Why do so many people gloss over the fit sample two BPM part? Don’t do that. That’s what newbies want to learn
I don't adjust to fit any BPM. I tune a sample down to a key that I found more tasteful, then experiment with chops until they sound good

Thanks! A good amount of them are custom, but the rest are from Microkorg patch bundles

¿why do you record it into the sp-404?
The whole video's audio is being effected by the vinyl sim on the OG 404, recording in "resamples" the audio.

If you don’t mind sharing, what’s the effect you use on the sp404 sx on second 6:44 and other times throughout the set? I try to find it on the mk2, but can’t. Great set. Would had taken a demo
It's actually an OG 404 I'm using the vinyl sim wow / flutter effect. It's quite different sounding on the SX

Recorded on two phones, but I add some filters in an editing app. The phone on the table is connected to the SP-404 via IRig Studio. 🙏

Very clever, if you haven't already, you should put some detailed stuff about your workflow & technique out there; you don't have to give away all your secrets, and you don't have to necessarily use Koala, just how you make beats with samples , in general .. ... Most original beat maker on yt!! So I’m pretty sure I get the gist of your signal flow for tracking in and out of SPs and macbook, but what is capturing your overall audio for video?
Appreciate you 🙏🙏 everything goes into the OG 404 and captured via IRig Studio through the headphone out for videos. For tracks I'll export from the CF card
