great video .. I am following this and upgrading my headlights as well.. did you use glu for the high beam location as well, where the halo sits inside .. or you just used wiring around it.

So for the bigger light hole, I'm assuming you just have the halo sitting as far back as possible? Any tips on making sure it ends up sitting straight?

Wouldn't the hot glue melt again once you put them back in the oven? Or is it high temp or something?

Did you use the same sized halos for the high and low?

Looks very similar to the Tuff Stuff Alpha. Wouldn’t be surprised if they are made by the same factory.

I haven’t been fortunate enough for that one yet. Me and my daughter basically lived in the back of my old Toyota T-100 for 7 weeks bouncing around all over the Rockies a few years back. A camper shell and a 14” thick memory foam mattress made all the difference to this old man! Lol. Took a few old Coleman lanterns and a Coleman cook stove. Two plastic totes and two ice chest. We had the time of our lives! She’s now 16 and wanting to make the trip to Alaska. We would be doing almost double the miles, but I would have some help with the driving this time! Lol.

The melted reflector piece on the inside of the housing, did you replace it with a new one? If you did is there a link to that part?

How did you seal the hole for the wires for halos?

Do you only sand the exterior surface of the lens? You don't sand the inside surface?

Ehhhh, depending on the year of your car, you could just submerge the "chrome" bezel in ZEP de-greaser and it'll strip it to the glossy black plastic. No spray paint needed.

Is the wire that holds the halo visible? Or does it block light?

I've heard that the sandpaper/buffing method is only a temporary fix to oxidized light cases. Is that your experience?

Project farm has a great video on headlight restoration kits. I ended up buying the Sylvania one.

you're missing the essential softroader poser gas cans! Why no highlift jack on the hood? I hope you packed some extra CVs because they're going to pop if you go on anything slightly challenging with those huge ass tires and 7000 pound vehicle

LED bulbs in GX projectors SUCK with 2 or 3 exceptions. Blues are nearly useless onroad. Stick to HIR halogen swap in low and high, or HID. Frankly for the time of disassembly etc, retrofit is way more important to me than halos. Anyone done some "indirect" accent lighting? I think I may just do a diffused strip that isn't directly exposed in mine. Maybe a switchback

I like how the 80mm halo sits inside the high beam location. Would a smaller halo sit inside the low beam in a similar manner? Do you know what size that might be?

What is the wire for just holding the Halo? would epoxy not work or is it so you can go back in and change them? was there two holes for the wire or one hole the wrap around the actual light holes couldn't see very well.
