These are great! One of the best bang for the buck upgrades I’ve done to my Tacoma!
Where did you buy the wheel well trim?
Love the new camera angles! That shot on the driver's side of the truck is great. The park looks beautiful!
Yea I’m really liking the side shots now
Nice footage and angles. Keep it up
Thank you!
You got some sweet videos! I really liked his 2 part series, you got yourself a sub!
Thank you 🤙🏻
Its value has already increased by 30% 😂😂😂😂
Just swinging by to do what i said id do, give ya a like, and 1 min of viewing lol
Appreciate you 🤙🏻
🤣🤣🤣
Love watching those rigs tackle the terrain! Great video🔥
Glad you enjoyed!
I know how steep those climbs are. The camera never shows the angles for what they are. Awesome video!
Yea the cameras never do justice! Union springs was an awesome trail. Thanks for watching 🤙🏻
This one time I was a bout 10 miles driving up a mountain on my friends quad and it started to make a noise than it just started slowing down even though I was flooring it
This one time I was a bout 10 miles driving up a mountain on my friends quad and it started to make a noise than it just started slowing down even though I was flooring it
Oh no!
Fr
Probably a dumb question but how did you install the s2 fog light? Sweet rig
Drill a hole right through the bumper and then used a nut and bolt, I was concerned the plastic was gonna be to weak but it holds up just fine!
I’m Fifth Commont🎉
My dumb ass thought it was a game 😢
😂😂😂ohno ohno
Oh noo oh nooo 😂
I got blow out on my Subaru Impreza 30 miles into the mountain. Its was a highway road but with no tools and since ot was 2 am i drove on a flat to a repair shop and got it fixed. I have pictures of my rim being flat and the fender almost gone from the tire smacking into kt
Nice overview. I didn't realize till seeing this vid that the A2 and X2 are different other than the material of the hard shell. I was wondering why your A2 didn't raise up in the back to expose the back window then I looked again at the site and only the X2 (plastic shell) has the rear window. That's disappointing for the A2 for me as I would like that back window feature.
The X2 is nice cause of that hinge design giving you that back window and extra room for your feet or head but I was thinking long term durability especially with the tight tails.
Really liked the video. I have a VooDoo rack and the A2 like you. M A2 doesn't fit the rack very well for me. The bolts for the mounting bracket didn't work so I had to use the bracket from my old 23Zero walkabout to make it work. Kind of a bummer.
Yea I ran into the same issue, I bolted the tent directly to the rack through the crossbar holes. But I might be upgrading to another rack in the future
🔥🔥🔥
I am still running my Tepui (now Thule) soft shell, 3-person tent on my rig. It is good for what it is, and it keeps me dry during heavy rainstorms. I will have to check out the 23Zero tent sometime. I like how it has a light inside.
I’m glad I went with Armadillo A2. So far im pretty happy with mine.
🙌🏻🙌🏻 it really is a great tent
great content
Thank you!!
Great video! Looks like a fantastic tent! We have our first RTT on its way, and it’s a hard shell… so this reinforces that I made the right decision
Thank you! Hardshell RTT is the way to go, glad it was helpful!
Awesome video of the new rtt!! Short and sweet. You hit all of the important points. That integrated light is a big bonus too.
Thanks 👍Yea you cant beat the premium features of this tent
A hard shell RTT is my next swap out. Well, after a high clearance rear bumper 🤔 Awesome video!
Nice!! Bumper is next on my list, just gotta find one I like and one that fits. Options are limited for my truck. What kind of RTT you thinking?
@@AT4OB I was thinking about the TufffStuff Alpha. Right now we have the Smittybilt Overlander XL. It’s doing a great job but it is complicated to set up quickly.
Alpha was actually one of the tents I was looking into for awhile!
Looking good ! Well thought out. The Icon package is sweet. I’m liking that roof rack too. Keep up the great videos. (Nice camera work too, Ken!) Safe travels.
Thank you!! Appreciate it man 🤙🏻
I've run the blue Sumos on my non-lifted 09 Tacoma SR5 4x4 for just over a year now. Stock 3+1 leafs and stock shocks, being the tow package model. Just the other day, I finally changed out the stock shock absorbers that were so comically spent they bounced when I tossed them, landing on one end. With the new KYB Gas-a-justs and Hellwig 981s the suspension is better than new IMHO, in part to the Sumos chewing up that last bit before going full compression. She's getting some new running shoes, so priorities ya know! Let the long awaited camper shell build commence!
I have the black 1500lbs sumos now, cause of the heavier tent too. Camper shell build that’s exciting!!!
Great walk around video 👏 love seeing all the upgrades! The new intro effects are nice too 👌
Appreciate it and thank you so much for helping me film. Yeah I figured since this is just a rig review and not a full adventure video It didn’t need my normal intro
looking good
Thanks 👍Appreciate the view
I’ve been to your neck of the woods so… how do you not have a winch? 😂 Also, with the Maxtrax mounts, sometimes getting the premium stuff the first time is the way to go! The rig is looking awesome! Can’t wait to see what’s next!
😂😂 thankfully with a little bit of skill and luck I haven’t needed a winch but definitely have used kinetic rope and maxtrax. Plus the aftermarket bumper selection for my truck is very minimal. But I found one that might work so with any luck I’ll have a bumper/winch by the end of the year. Thanks for watching 🤙🏻
Let me know what you think of the rig, what’s your favorite modification? What would you have done different? And don’t forget to like and subscribe if you wanna see more from this channel
Nicely done bro!
Appreciate it! Don’t forget to check out my other adventure 🤙🏻
About time people start posting canyon content. I love my 17 all terrain. Underrated
Very underrated and the amount of looks I get when I’m out on the trials is gold.
You think I can get my Acura TL through that 😂 That’s awesome to see. Looks like a fun adventure.
😂😂 pick the right line and have a good spotter and I think the TL would do just fine
Love how legal this is
I’m so confused is it legal or against the law? 🙃
there’s a big nasty beast in those mountains, that the highest levels of government don’t want you to know about. Please be careful
Icon is garbage. Blew out shocks on my GMC HD. Blew out twice. Upgraded to King. Mark this comment, yours will blow out too. Wonderhussy’s icons on her 4Runner blew out twice. Highly do not recommend Icon.
Well if it blew it was either installed incorrectly or your driving conditions and vehicle load didn’t match the stage of icon you bought. Also every vehicle is different in how it handles different brand shocks. I know a taco, a 4Runner and a f150 with icon and they have no complaints. I’ve put about 25,000 on mine with moderate off roading with no issue 🤙🏻
Haha isn’t this the #truth
Love it! Good job man!
Appreciate it!
LOVE to see the domestics out there.
Everyone so use to seeing Yotas, it nice to be different lol
Well done my friend. Awesome edit and narration. Footage of the water crossings was beautiful 👏
Thank you!!! I tried my best to make it feel more like a documentary. Now time to start editing part 2 🤙🏻
Wow! This is my back yard and I have traveled this area so much I can do it blindfolded but after watching y’all tackle this for the first time I have a new sense of appreciation for my home. Awesome work 👍🏻
Appreciate it!!! Yea that area was so amazing to explore and the water crossings where epic. I keep forgetting who is down in that area, it would have been cool to meet up for the day
Against the law hero
How so please educate me good sir
Oh thank god, I thought it was a body
Love the truck, glad to see Canyon content, its hard to find lol ..What lift kit you using?
Yea there ain’t many Canyons out there doing this stuff. I’m running a Icon Stage 2 set to 3 inches
@@AT4OB That's what's up man, just got me a 21 At4 a few months ago, so I had been looking for vids on them to see what they are cable of, keep up the great work! I'll definitely keep watching
Not surprised to see that Generic Motor Company truck struggle over crap I took our Mustang over with ease
Don’t forget videos never show angles and depth correctly. But yea I’m sure your mustang would have gone up this trail with ease 🤙🏻
@@AT4OB didn't mean to take our Mustang off-road, but my uncle's place is in the mountains. Even if the angle was offset, that can't handle any more than that and can barely even climb those pebbles. $1,450 payment for a house mortgage and all you get is a fancy, well okay not really capable truck
Well again it’s hard to have the right perspective from a video, you also weren’t there. I’m sure I would have done a little better if I had it in 4WD. And my house on wheels doesn’t have a $1450 mortgage payment that would be insane
That’s pretty epic
Thanks 🤙🏻
Wrong answer 5. All Of The Above
🤣🤣 usually that’s the case
