Good video man, what would you suggest for walleye fishing in st joe river? Havent been able to catch many this season
That’s a beautiful boat. Nice set up you have there. Thanks for the walk around
Nice boat! I have an 1825 Falcon up in BC Canada here and absolutely love it for big lake fishing.
Nice channel!! Going there tomorrow for the first time and I’m new to all this. Your channel is great keep up the good work!! Hoping to catch some eyes, never caught one.
Are their alot of flatheads in Michigan
Yes! Southern Michigan has a lot of great flathead fisheries!!
Keep posting love you channel
Thank you!! It’s a lot of work but I’m recommitting this year to putting content out
Good morning I was wondering what your go no go on the wind is for Lake of The woods . I live in Demotte so it’s a hour plus to the Lake. I have a pro guide V16 tracker. I enjoy all your fishing videos and look forward to more . Thank you Rick Apologies for sending this through my Daughters swim page, can’t sign into my own page for some reason!
Thank you! I try to avoid a south wind when going there. Anything north allows you a chance to work close to the north shore. Good luck!!!
Wow, what a trip! Nice solo net job!
I wish I could say skill. It was dumb luck lol. Thank you my friend. Need to come visit the Detroit River!
The D is just about at its prime. Don't wait too long. Heading over to St. Joe tomorrow.
LOVE IT! Great video. Makes me want to get my boat in the water NOW!
Let’s gooo
Need to do a video together my friend!!! Love your content.
@@fishingmichiana thanks, bro. Let’s do it
Nice! I have the same boat. What mount are you using for the Garmin Fish Finder? And what's the phone mount? Thanks!
thank you James, the phone mount is for any car. it works great. the mount for the fish finder was supplied by my dealer. i will see if i can get the name for you!
I just bought one as well and so far it exceeds all expectations! Went with Yamaha 150 for power and no shortage of smiles.
it really is a great all around boat!
One more question: what’s the red thing on the engine holding up the motor to the motor mount to take stress off the hydraulic lift ram?? I’ve never seen that before! I have and use a regular transom saver, but I want what you’re running, what’s that called and where can I find it?
thank you for asking. this came from the marina when i purchased the boat. i will see if i can locate the name of the product for you!
Ok, I’ve been looking for these seats forever! Would you know what they’re called? Aluminum boats all come with one style seat, it’s usually the fold type seat with various type bottoms, some regular pole, some are fancy air or hydraulic ride. But never seen anyone with these seats, which usually come on fancy fiberglass boats. I need these.
i will see if can locate the name of the seats. i purchased them on amazon. i like them alot. very comfortable.
What kind of baits are you using?
rapala jigging raps my friend
Very nice rig. What trolling motor have you chosen to mount on the bow?
I’m considering installing an ulterra. I’m trying to find a good marina
I’d take a hard look at the Ultrex; easy to deploy and stow, plus all the electronic features we know and love. I’ve had nightmares with 3 different Ulterra’s over 5 years (ran Detroit River charters).
great job!!!
thank you!
Is a fish fry!
Holy smokes it even has a remote throttle control on your kingfisher? Nice video!!
That’s the garmin reactor 40 link. It’s awesome
What the plate on the right hand side at the back of transom for?
Are you referring to the swim deck? That’s for entering and exiting the boat. It has an attached extendable ladder as well
@@fishingmichiana that’s so awesome!!! Thank you!
That Spoon set up where you are running doubles, you need to do a quick video on that to show how to set that up!
I sure can. I’ll put a TH-cam short video out this weekend on the slider line set up. Obvious disclaimer I’m not a pro but maybe I can help a new person to this style fishing.
@@fishingmichiana and shitty net job or not....fish ended in the boat and that is all that matters!
Love the boat. What was your solution for the snaps that the full sloped curtain uses? Or do you not use it? Thanks
Thanks for the feedback andrew. The canvas top was great this winter. However the side curtain snaps were difficult. Ended up breaking two with normal use. I believe the cold temperature made the material very stiff causing the problem. It still worked wonderfully and provided some protection from the elements.
@@fishingmichiana nice. Sorry I didn’t read my own reply when writing it LOL, I meant to ask how the tracks fit on with the snaps that are on the gunnels for the sloper curtain? Curious if you can have tracks installed and still use the full sloper curtain enclosure for storage
@@AndrewMcGhie lol! All good! Yes I have used the full sloper and the tracks are actually on the outside of the snaps so no issues. My upfitter made it a point to put the tracks on to accommodate it.
@@fishingmichiana nice good to know! Thanks again
You pimped your boat pretty sleek. I love it. How is the Merc on fuel ?
It does really well. The boat is big but fairly light. 38 gallon tank as well.
Great video
Thank you joe!!
Love the ☘️ park
I hope you’re doing well my friend!!
Killing it like always! Love that new boat!
Appreciate the kind words! I’m very blessed with this boat!
Wow
Big fish ain't it
Wow
Wow
Nice tank 👌
You can tell it's a walleye by the way it is
Very nice Nate!
Nice
Gonna be a great year💪
Let’s gooo!
Almost king30
I would like to invite you to test my product, please let me know if you are interested
Nice lake
That’s so awesome hot breakfast and fishing with your friend. Love your videos on the Saint Joe River.
Thank you James!
I had a boat like that for ten years. Great on fuel. I put a fish on tower with rocket launcher rod holders and net holder. That gets all your rods out of the way. Fish on products are well built and is in your backyard. Enjoy your new boat!!!
I’ll have to check that out! Fish on products. Thank you for sharing your comments!
Fishing deep holes?
Yes sir. 20+feet
super~ col , 🔥
Thank you
So good to see a fishing video from you!!!!
Thank you
In a cross wind with those aluminum guides sticking out of trailer We'll put a nice Dent in the side of that boat. Just be careful it's going to get expensive.
You have a good point. I had in in some strong currents launching yesterday and the bunks seem to line the boat up well before touching side arms.
Loved the video. Recognize the exact spot. Pulled 49 off that weed bed 4/13/03 between 10am and 3:30. And they were monsters just like yours.
Right on!!!! It’s a great time
Are the kings in the fish cam is down
Not quite yet. Pulling kings out of 110 fow in the low still. Soon!
Thxs u .. just a matter of time.. do u know what the river temp is. If ok to ask.. iam up river about 50 miles
@@twistedstemsfarmms572 the last time I was in the river the surface temp was 76 degrees.
@@fishingmichiana thxs.. I hope the temp drops soon .. thxs very much.. fish on
I’m attempting to land some big cats at shafer with my kayak. Think you could point me to some of those deep spots?
Absolutely! Just out from the roller coaster is 20-23 foot of water. Work the Chanel ledges with shad and you’ll be good. Remember time of day is crucial
@@fishingmichiana thank you! was down there 2 weekends ago and didn’t have any luck. Water temp was 80 and I suspect that was the reason
Absolutely my pleasure. It you can try night time
I’m attempting to land some big cats at shafer with my kayak. Think you could point me to some of those deep spots?
Absolutely. Just south of the rollercoaster. 20’ of water bud.
Love the boat. I live in Florida and all the boats are open cockpit center console that I don’t like, why are the open cockpit boats so popular?
Thank you for your comment Sidney. I’m not a fan of center console either personally. I prefer to have fishing space.
I think they do lots of fishing that require a walk around deck.
Great video 😊
Good day on the river really hard to beat the nice quietness of fishing the river. Nate can you tell me what kind of line you spool your reels with? Really nice boat and I was sort of figured you must really know the river. When you were running fairly fast down the river the first part of the video, I was hoping that there weren't any logs floating down the river.
Thanks Paul! I spoil my rods with 65lb braid and the leader is 40lb fluorocarbon. I’ve been on the river a few times so I know enough to be safe. There’s always the risk of a log or two
@@fishingmichiana Thank You Nate for getting back with me so soon, & always for the great info. Good fishing to you Nate, stay safe,
Are you sure you guys are friends ???
Absolutely
