Valheim was my favorite game when it had just the first 5 biomes (finishing with the plains). When Mistlands came out, it was kinda bad, but manageable. But when Ashlands came out, I freaking hated it... Frustratingly hard, and punishes you really bad each time you die. In the end, I quit when I played it solo. Finished it when I played with my bro. Don't know why they made so much enemies, and why are the enemies so freaking strong. They looked at Dark Souls / Elden Ring, and thought that people like hard games. The thing is, when you die in Elden Ring, there are no real consequences, but when you die in Valheim, you lose progression, and retrieving the gear is frustrating af.

Great summary of the game You said that there weren't enough steam cores to finish the last upgrade for the generator. In my last utopia play-through I finished it. I had about 10 cores left after upgrading it with the 40 core upgrade. Maybe you need luck with the map, dunno. In my other utopias I didn't finish it

5:10 they do work with them! Its just bugged,the fix is turning the drill off and back on.

Too bad you can't build tents on the edge of your city for the Adaptation faction/s. 😄 I think if they would've had voice actors in the senate chamber read out the law they're trying to pass it would've gone a long way to make the people feel more real, maybe that's a mod idea for later. Good review.

I highly recommend not sleeping on the lighting enchanted weapons. Jade axes are great for Fader and Morgens, but basically all of the lightning enchants are absolutely great. Nothing like getting a group of skellies together and watching them all get zapped by chain lighting.

I have no stuttering in Ashlands, I wonder why it is the case for you.

I found out today they will be patching Ashlands and making it easier by reducing the spawn rate. They're also changing the Flametal spires so they don't sink anymore and should fix the floating bug 😅

I will admit the vr mode is commically broken, yet is the funnest part of the game. I borrow a vr headset from my university for a week at the end of every semester just to play hitman 3 in vr. My favorite thing is to use a melee weapon at leg height while crouching, and just quickly beat them repeatedly until it makes then unconscious. Such a stupid method that works hilariously well. Funny video. Edit- this is coming from someone who has played 3500+ hours of all 3 games in the past 7 years, so it does add to a game i enjoy a lot.
