Can you route the audio input from the Fantom to the track you are using to control it and use the track fx before going into the master?

Zenbeats IS a DAW my guy, and appreciat the video, but as an Integra-7 owner, only 8 tracks wont work. The Integra-7 has 16 channels.

Mv is not overpowered, the user is under knowledge, Roland has never updated their products to there capabilities the need to update the UI if there is enough room! Look at the fatom. It is not really a workstation. I am pursuing a VLab to use with my MV!

That nuances of that track is So Dope! The Manley etc.... the ARTs are a formula foe!

What about the old 19" racks? Where do you put all the desktop modules? Make the MV-8000 in a 19" rack-format without the pads and add extra midi-control to it and I would buy it.

There actually is a bit of logic behind the way the short cuts are accessed. Like it never asks you to hit three keys at once. You enter a mode with two keys and then the third key sets a value. I feel like people complaining about dope new features being added for free should just use a DAW. You're not obligated to use the new stuff. Compose your stuff with the basics and if you think there's something missing, go online and check if it has a way to do it. A little elbow grease goes a long way. Read the manual with the box in front of you. It will reward you dearly (it's funny I'm defending the sp404 when I've got beef with Roland.. 😂)

Well, it is indeed a dilemma. But not concerning the machine. It is further a dilemma of our digital society. Roland reps have to sell hardware products. And to do this they have to keep users interested. How to keep a user nowadays interested? Yes, you have to add things and things to the product, so they add update after update wether it's useful or not. Important is that they have to say something new. It's not about capability ... it's about keep the attention level of the customers high. Feed them.

The Best beat maschine is the Roland Verselab MV-1. I have the Verselab, Maschine plus, and MPC ONE. My favorite is the Verselab and my least is the Maschine+. My most fun is yhe Maschine+. My mpc one is loved lol. All have their pros and cons.

I think like sync, stem seperation vs hand mixed isolation is a question of less worse vs good or bad. A good artist knows when to not use that stuff, such as with quantization and midi like you mention with the rhodes. Especially with music, I think carrying a stance of curiousity and unknowingness is healthy and less worse then a defensive posistion.

Tell us something we don't know! The MV8800 is STILL the best thing since sliced bread. ALL Roland had to do was release an update for the ability to edit "clips"...maybe give us better audio filters. Ther AKAI KEY37 is proof Roland hates its fans.

I have the MV-1 since 3 weeks and I also have an old Boss Metalzone (distortion) guitar pedal. Can I hook up the MEtalzone to the MV-1 Line-IN / Line-out L+R to to be used as an external effect for guitar (and other sounds) ?

If I use Zenbeats to re-arrange tracks , can I then send back my new re-arranged song/track/etc to the MV-1 memory ? i use Zenbeats on my Samsung Tab A8 and my Windows 10 PC.

Thanks for the upload. I also appreciate the MV sequencer and would love to know who designed it. I started making music with the MV so any time I’ve tried other machines like MPCs, at first I am always like where is everything at? Does this have a view of the whole song? Where are the audio tracks?

I bought an MV-8800 back in 2008 and I am still using it! My best buy ever! To sample I use two TD-100 Summit's Audio tube DI boxes where I connect my synth outs or a turntable and I do all the work internally into the MV-8800! Thanks for the video!
