KANE BROWN DRUM TECH - WORKING FOR A COUNTRY ARTIST?!
Excellent tuning my friend 🔥
Kit sounds killer. Jmo... but that snare would sound so much better tuned up a lil more. So tired of the lazy low pitched garbage. Sound engineers need to stop having a say in tuning.
Paper thin already starting to get warped again lmaoo
what was the song they were playing in the showtime at the start?
Oh and that kit sounded amazing. Excellent job!
Much appreciated!
This just popped up on my feed and as a drummer myself, found it fascinating to watch you set-up and adjust everything and then test it. I’ve been to quite a few concerts at that Arena but have never experienced behind the stage. Loved it thank you!
That's awesome! Stoked you stumbled here!
SONOR. the only choice.
Thankyou for the effort in creating this, I found it quite fascinating and relaxing to watch.
Thank you for watching!
Have seen a few good concerts at Spark. Not my personal jam (am a Metalhead) - but fascinating look behind the scenes. And just for Bants: Mate - you have an easy job! No Second Kick, Barely any Toms, forgotten half your cymbals - doing light work :D
I actually find these vids relaxing, you are so neat and tidy 👍🏼 What shoes you got on? They comfy for lots of standing?
Thanks so much! I appreciate it a bunch! And they are Adidas Yeezy Boost! They're amazing for me!
Auckland based here . Nice to see some of the local crews on your footage..
Had an awesome time, as always!
"chur butha" haha
Is this Zach Brown? Also, was there a cover of Air Tonight by Phil Collins?
Artist is Kane Brown. And it is a rendition of Phil Collins but an original KB song 'I Can Feel It'
not new zealands best arena, have you seen woolfbrook?
Biggest. Not best. Although, Spark is an amazing arena.
Spark arena has a capacity of 12,000, (I know you said "best arena" I'm just clarifying other things) and woolfbrook has a capacity of 8,000. eden park is the biggest "event arena" but its not called an arena, Therefore Spark arena is the highest capacity "Arena" in New Zealand.
I have! Super cool spot!
Spark is great! And honestly, the load in to stage is exceptionally easy.
wot b ands this supergroove lol nz palunga
Kane Brown is the artist
Wow friggin fabulous footage. Stunning
Appreciate it!
Appreciate the workers behind the scene❤❤
Need job
Great job!
Thank you!
nice video!! i have a question: at 23.34 you are using an interesting tool...it's made by yourself or i could find in some shop? thanks!
You can find it! It's called the Damrench. Awesome for tightening/loosening wing nuts.
@@blaz3ab thanks a lot!!
Thanks for the amazing video!
Thanks for watching!
Awesome video! Looking forward to seeing more.
Thanks for hangin'!
where is the lug tune holders from? got a link?
Rock Locks!
Hey AB, these Beyerdynamic TG D58c (TT and FT) they sound great!! How about bleeding (cardioid-condenser) specially in living performances? Are they strong any of for a tour? Looks so fragile... Tks. PS. Awesome work! Keep rocking!! 💪🏻👊🏻👏🏻
The best!
My algorithm seems to be dialed in perfectly! This has become my favorite type of content on TH-cam! Even though I am a guitar player I have always been in awe of drummers, and their gear! I tried learning a few times but, just could never get the coordination down between my hands and feet. Thank you for sharing this experience with us!
Well I'm a drummer but I like guitars and guitarists. I mostly watch guitar building and guitar rigs before going to sleep. 👌
Know the feeling! The drummer from my band and I have an interesting dynamic going on. He'll be playing the most complex grooves on the kit, whilst I'm trying to get every last bit of performance out of it, also not knowing how to play the damn thing. I must say, setting up, tuning, and sometimes the odd line check from me turns some heads when I then instantly pick up the guitar afterward. 😅
Watching POV of these musical techs is the new binge stuff on YT ❤❤
@ right?? It’s so cool!
Thank you for watching! Glad you're enjoying!
Question: are these tom and floor tom mics a Beyerdynamic TG D58c? Awesome job! Congrats!👏🏻👏🏻
Thanks for the video, I am glad yours popped up!
Thanks for watching!
The one thing I hate about sweet crashes are that they warp after a while because theyre so damn thin :(
You are so right! Ironically we switched 1 to a paper thin thinking we'd have the same issue and it lasted way longer.
@ im pretty sure the paper thin crash is the same weight range as the sweet crash just with less of a taper towards the edge, but if you overplay any very thin crash it’ll eventually fail on you unfortunately How come you guys don’t use heavier crashes that project better/last longer considering the music is so heavy? I feel like sometimes when guys use sweet crashes you can barely hear them during a heavy chorus
What’s your workbox for this tour? Would love to see your personal setup man!
For this was a medium sized Pelican case STUFFED with what I would normally have in the states.
👍
👍🔥
I’m going to college next year but after college if I don’t make it as a touring band, what is your advice to me of looking for a job as a drum tech?
NICE!!!
I enjoyed the video! A great look at what it takes to make a show happen. Do any of your peers make videos on other aspects, i.e. FOH to stage cable and speaker routing, etc? Keep up the good work!
Not too many.. yet. Thank you though!
Is the color on each backline cases for the stage location? Blue for Stage Left and Red for Stage Right?
That would be correct! Much easier for the people that don't see these cases every day.
Hmm im confused never tuned 1 but i hear they will stay in tune was your there.
Dude all my fingers are crossed hoping for a behind the scenes Spiritbox guitar tech video....pls pls pls
Interesting. What’s happening here?
Fine tuning an Evertune bridge.
Nice! Looks great
God that thing is gorgeous. Are you allowed to say the specs on it?
🫣🤫
Maybe it's just the camera angle but it looks like that whole neck has like a twist in it😮❤. If so that is a crazy unique design if not maybe I need to go get my eyes checked😂
the multiscale frets & nut make it look like that at this angle haha
😂
We need. We deserve more live tech videos
Saw spritbox few days ago! They were amazing!
Love this bts stuff! Does anyone know the name of the song that starts 21:20?
I believe that it Kane Brown - Famous Friends
@@blaz3ab that’s the one. cheers!
I like your Vid
Thank you!

THANK YOU!
it's amazing how the electric screwdriver speeds up time...🥸
did they do the midday coffee station out by homeplate/catering?
Oh of course!
@@blaz3abexcellent… always a good option… especially on a stadium run… our LN guy arranged them at almost every city we hit this summer
