Oxfordshire Fire & Rescue Service hosted this year the 50th anniversary event conjoined with their second ever "Veterans Reunion" event which entials the open invitiation of all Veterans of the service including those who did not serve necessarily within Oxfordshire Fire & Rescue but Oxford Fire Brigade etcetera before the algimation.
During the day at a point, FJ X 21P2 and the Incident Support Officer vehicle on station were mobilised to a Domestic Property Fire reported within Bicester as 07P1 was also called over. Around 4-5 minutes after the tone down, 07P1 called over a stop message and confirmed false alarm.
The other notable inclusions in this video, are two highly recognisable and unique appliances within the service. Also to mention, the oldest. Which is our Incident Command Unit based out of Slade Park Fire Station and our retrofitted, only the miniature lightbars due to the originals being broken, Water Carrier based out of Wheatley Fire Station. Both completing a demo of a turnout from Rewley Road Fire Station to fulfill a request and show the veterans that some appliances have still got the classic two tones!
