Tbh I could interpret Ending in so many ways. I cannot deny your theory because it is really great! But let's be honest Time Travel and Predestination is one of those thing getting right is very hard because it always involved "IF". Then comes AOT dealt with a plot which is "Freedom, Sin of your ancestors, Sin of your past, present and Future & Differences of ideology etc" all at once which is so complex + doesn't really have an answer. The way it is "Is kinda okay" because at the end of the day it was made it clear. Eren only wanted his Friends to live long than having answer for all those Questions.

Before I even started the video, I knew this was going to be about the "Reiner transferring his consciousness into his body" thing... an ability never used or referenced before, and never gets used or referenced again. It was kind of bullshit, and there was no reason for it.

Oh and you can completely remove all time travel from the show this way, without doing any character assassinations or undermining of whole themes due to presdestiny. You're welcome.

I just love the action scenes. It's evenly marched at times.. As far as the plot goes, I don't want to dig too deep because it's kind of complicated and boring.

Original ending was so much better but people just couldn't stand that they didn't get a perfect fairytale ending where everyone lives happily ever after and they completely missed the point of the show by doing so Nothing ever goes according to plan and the real world is cruel and unjust you just gotta learn to live with it

I mean it is a little funny overall BUT the is no proof that the sword severed his spine and its not like the titans have an empty cavity where the users are thats just for showing what they are doing, in reality its literally all muscle mass and the thunderspears didn't touch Reiner directly aka they still had to blast through all that mass to get to Reiner unlike when Zeke had it literally implanted in him and Levi was right next to him and there was only air around them. Also this whole debate becomes pointless when you bring Ymir into the talks she can do WHATEVER the hell she wants with all subjects of Ymir including completely changing how their bodies work inside out She can say f no, none of these guys are dying today and rebuild their bodies whenever she wants just like she did with Zeke

I like how some of the Shifters, much like the vampires in Twilight, in addition to being able to transform into titans, also have random X-Men powers for no reason, like being able to see the future or turn people into titans with their blood, while the others just don’t. Great show, but they just pull stuff out of their asses sometimes for convenience.

i dont understand why that scene is hated, i know its a pathethic moment,however, when Eren tells Armin he doesn’t want Mikasa to love anyone else and desperately clings to the idea of her mourning him, it’s a raw and honest moment. It contrasts sharply with the composed, ruthless Eren we've seen for much of the series. This is the Eren who, despite his grandiose plans and larger-than-life ideals, is still a young man struggling with personal insecurities and unfulfilled desires.

So... I was watching the Grissini Project's cover of Vogel Im Kafig and randomnly saw a comment from a manga reader spoiling the fact that Eren dies in the end... Thats how my experience with season 4 began 😫 (That cover was 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥 btw... check it out!) I say that to say that when the show started focusing so much on Gabi, she pissed me off SO BAD! Knowing that Eren was going to die, I was on the edge of my seat waiting to see what ue did and who it was that killed him. Gabi was completely uninteresting to me - she did nothing meaningful for the plot other than kill Sasha, which actually just pissed me off more because i liked Sasha. I wanted them to throw her off the blimp on their way back to Paradis. Biggest disappointment in AoT for me was Gabi. But literally every other aspect of the anime was outrageously good and belongs in the anime hall of fame - soundtrack, animation, voice actors, plot, etc. Freaking Gabi 😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨

Consciousness transfer should be allowed imo but only as a *real* last resort, where it cant go back to his brain, his body dissolves, and he becomes a pure titan, unable to shift back forever until he dies or gets inherited

I very recently watched this Anime. I remember verbally telling myself the first episode was so narrative and not authentic. That things were happening too strict to story to flow naturally. Now, I learned, after finishing it, all of those flaws I thought were poor writing- it was just Ymir. An artist never makes a mistake when they can create a god within their world and blame each shortcoming on them.

5:33 A good counterpoint to this is not everyone can do the full body crystalization. Annie can do it because a special trait of the female titan is that she can copy other titan abilities to certain degrees if she ate parts of these titans. Which means she most likely got that ability by copying it from the only titan that can also do the crystalization, the warhammer titan.

Anime fans are the biggest cry babies what Armin says isn’t even THAT bad and is such a small part to the ending. To act like it ruined it just goes to show how detached from the real world anime fans are. The obsession is embarrassing

It seems to me that halfway through the story, Isayama realized that the colossal and armored needed to be stronger enemies, so during this arc he randomly gave them new powers, the colossal is now a nuke and the armored is unkillable.
