Mine flew out of its cage today, i put this and he was coming back but he stood on an electric wire and explode, im sad but that was hilarious 😂💥🍗🪶🪶🪶

Is it good for Ara parrot?

I have a budgie couple and this is the first time they hatch eggs successfully, 2 chicks they are about 6 days old, she laid 3 more eggs but i wanted to candle them and see if they were fertile. While I am trying to get the eggs, the parent budgies get scared and the male flew by my hand through the cage opening. I imstantly felt regret and desperation as he was such an important role on the baby chicks, i felt sadness for the female budgie as she was so used to always being with him and they were such love birds. I have a house about 1 acre surrounded by woods, I know there is owls and eagles nearby so I knew he was not going to survive a night there. I put the cage in different places in the backyard that were more open view and easy to see for him and i placed this audio and sometimes the female budgie audio, he was always nearby in the trees and woods because i would always hear him chirp but sometimes he would go on the neighbors’ side of the woods. So i would play the audio louder or shouted the words that i always say to them. I feel like this is what kept him nearby, if I wouldn’t have done this I felt like he would have gotten lost deeper in the wooods. I realized that its better to take small breaks while playing this audio, if you play it nonstop he will eventually stop chirping, if you take a break and then play it again he will be more likely to chirp back and even fly closer. For exmaple i took an hour break of playing this, and when I played it he literally flew back to my trees from the neighbors, so dont keep the audio on 24/7, but do not lose track of him. Also I found that the placement of the cage matters, i was placing the cage on the backyard, which he has never been on the backyard so it is as he didn’t recognize the cage. He ended up coming closer on his own after 7 hours! He got lower on a tree so i put the cage right below him but he flew to my fromt yard, literally where i always put him, and he was trying to find the cage in the front so he got tired of flying, and when he was lower on the ground I got him with my hand, he bit me but I didnt care I just wanted him back so bad. After 7 hours he was back he was sooo hungryy he ate for like 10 minutes non-stop. So here’s my tip, never lose sight of him, play the audio to keep him close but take breaks, maybe try to lure him in on an open space where he can see the cage, but when he is closeby, put the cage in a familiar spot, or through the opening where he escaped (window, door, etc). He will come back once he is tired and hungry but do not let him get lost. Keep in mind my budgies are untamed, i am hoping to tame the baby chicks. I hope you all find your budgies and i hope this helps.

The Gary Sinise Foundation comes to mind as a wonderful replacement to honor him in the future. Hello last night my bird was sitting on my phone listening to Derek who is such a sweet boy and when I woke up my bird was dead it escaped it's cage so it can lay on me to sleep and I rolled over on her as I slept and I know I sound like the bad guy but it was an accident really it was and now as I'm writing this we're digging a grave for my sweet little girl who I love so very much and she loved derek so thank you Derek.

This is by far the best budgie video to calm my little friend who’s lost his buddy last year 💕

Sadly I lost one of my two girls last night, so played this to the one left so she didn't feel alone until I got her a new friend. She is singing away to it as I type this. I am devaststed as I got the two of them after losing both my Mum & Dad, so meant all the more to me. Going to get another to put in cage next to her until they are used to each other, then will go in together. RIP STAR 😢💔
