Holiday Inn TV Commercial - Kids Get A Free Toy
มุมมอง 10K9 ปีที่แล้ว
Early 2000s commercial featuring slacker "Mark Harvey" played by Ross Brockley.
24:29 Reagan doesn’t look too bad for around 70 years old
You can see Conan’s fingerprints on a lot of these…
34:00 Oh my gosh, I have been looking for this segment for AGES. I remember thinking this was so damn funny back in the day!!
Anne Bloom was such a babe!
One of the two reasons why the news isn't NEWS anymore-it's entertainment😢 (the other was when CBS launched "60 Minutes" in 1968; as what Jesse Ventura pointed out to Google in 2011).
I'd LMAO so hard as a kid watching this. I've looked everywhere for this ever since and have not been able to find it ANYWHERE! Thank you so much for posting! ❤❤❤❤❤
Tom Parks
They opened with jill and joe biden
memories unlocked
I saw that crosswalk bit from 12:51-13:11 only once on TV when i was young. I haven't forgotten it in over 35+ years, and it randomly pops into my head now and then. Finally got to see it again. Classic.
Was the regan thing true? I know at the end he had dementia?
The 'essoassole' LMLBO!!!
Holy sheesh I totally forgot about this show.
Sniglets were the best
I remember watching NnTN back when I was a kid. Even if I didn't get all the jokes, I found it funny. Now, decades later, I it's even funnier!
Man i forgot about this show.
4:36 Who is that kid? Doesn’t he become more famous later on?
Kissinger and Bush Senior, Wtf?! This is nothing but a stupid CIA project attempting to humanize these scum. #PsyOpForTheLose
Conan O'Brien was a writer!
Even though I must have seen all of these at the time, I am lolling. 😂 These bits really hold up despite being something like 35 years old.. Just substitute Syria - or Palestine - for Lebanon. 🥺
Wondering if you have the balls to do the special news segment? Real fans know which one I'm writing about.
Well, apparently, HBO and The Kids in the Hall shaped my sense of humor.
Why did I watch this back then? God, it's horrible. And if you need a character that everybody cant's stand, hire Stuart Pankin. Ugh.
I loved the Sniglets, hehe last one I remember was Esso Asso, its a person who cuts through a gas station to bypass a red light.... EDIT LOL watched the whole video and it actually had the Essoasso, excellent clip, thanks.
It's nice to see this show without the fuzzy snow on top of it 40 years later.
I get that...lmao
4:55 🤣
This was one of my absolute favorite things about HBO or just cable in general.
How did I forget about this? I was 15 when this was on 😮
Memories
I loved the live from the western White House segments.
The one guy on this show became an accomplished voice actor, being in countless cartoons. Rich Hall is another interesting person. His retrospective series on BBC is well done.
So, so, so good!
Today's news is more of a joke.
I remember the old Toon Town cartoon show on KCAL channel 9 in Socal hosted by Danny Breen
I used to watch this on HBO, back in the day, always looked forward to sniglets. I think the only one I actually used all these years was "musquirt" that watery stuff that comes out first when you use mustard. These are actually pretty educational since you get a historic snap shot of stuff that was going on at that time, one thing in this one, that was brought up a couple times, was the smog problem in LA, I hear people now complain about emissions regulations in California, yet it was those regulations that got rid of most if not all of that serious smog problem back in the 80s. also interesting is how, politics really hasn't changed much since then.
Al Gore's Rhythm & Blues Band
this was a good show. I remember that the earlier years I think were sort of 'R' rated, would have a touch of nudity, then I think it switched to more PG...
One of the greatest reasons to have HBO back in the early 80s.
I remember watching this and thinking it was real funny. But now …..yeah no
Lucy Webb reminds me so much of Cecily Strong
Came here to write exactly this!
Boy, we had fun back then...😅 Good times!
Back when you could joke without offending someone 🤭
God I miss the old world
Me tooooo
I miss the sniglets
Making fun of religion is great. The detergent and the Simon Says ones are awesome!
“You with the handkerchief, YOU’RE OUT!”
My goodness, I watched this and realized I’ve been quoting these skits for 40 years
Wow, I forgot this show existed,,, I was young,,, . definitely a pioneering show ,,, freaking awesome burning henry like that 👍
Actually better than the “real news.”
@10:20 George Costanza precursor!!!!
