Dude please make some more Skyrim content itâs so good. Maybe thematic videos; one from undead, one for automatons, beast/animal types, monster types ðĪðĪ
I have been working on a Skyrim project slowly, it's probably our favourite game to record in for its huge amount of moddability and control of individual environments. Not abandoning the series yet, just trying to maximise the creativity for the next one! If you have any specific creatures or even history/lore you'd think to see covered, let us know - we definitely need to cover far more creatures
7:25 it doesnât always work, but my preferred method is the olâ reliable âMAKE IT GO BOOM, BOSCO!â
what about new creatures in crush depth :3
Don't worry - our intrepid scientists are collecting the necessary data as we speak!
Hey everyone - if you havent seen it yet, we have released another Glyphid Episode covering new creatures that have been added in recent updates, aswell as correcting a few errors! You can part 2 here: th-cam.com/video/NliclyVUS1M/w-d-xo.html ROCK AND STONE!
Lol Iâm very late but I just want to say that I absolutely love these videos! Pls keep them up
Really glad you love the videos, plenty more on the way!
This was awesome! Thank you for sharing.
You are more than welcome!
Amazing work doctor. I just hope we can get this information to that crew that has ben running amuck through the facility before they cause any further damage...
Honestly, we can barely keep up with the terror they are causing, hopefully we can have more information out soon!
3 like bro fell off
fantastic!
YESSSS
Ever since I used googly glyphids mod, these look so wrong without eyesð
noice
I HATE stalkers Theyâre even more ridiculous than in Helldivers
Steam geezers
How this video got 16 Thousand views? I mean, the avrage for the channel is around just 1 thousand.
I'm so hyped to jump into the pirate community
Couldn't find a nicer group if you tried!
Personally using power attacks is the most effective way of dealing with stalkers. It might not kill them in one swoop consistently it's a good option if you don't have lot burst damage in your build. Happy mining, Rock and Stone!
DID I HEAR A ROCK AND STONE? ROCK AND STONE FOREVER!
ROCK AND STONER BROTHER!
Of interesting note regarding the Glyphid Septic Spreader, their ranged bombardment is capable of Indirect Fire and they are intelligent enough to make use of this quirk in order to bombard dwarf strongpoints whilst remaining relatively safe from return fire. Plan accordingly when choosing an area to make a stand and preferably take either an elevated position or one with good overhead cover to avoid the Septic mortar.
Very great video yet again, covering the recent update. Glyphids are my favorite of the Hoxes wildlife. Still, darn. You missed the size comparison of the all the glyphids so far.
Hollow bough is also dangerous due to one extra thing. If it has a gigantic open area, where multiple areas are merged together, it will absolutely explode a poor dwarf's lower end computer
This is amazing! Please keep doing this
Matters spawn are oddly cute to me. They are very round. Something about the way they wiggle their mandibles and raise their legs while preparing to fire is kinda cute.
Really well prododuced, but one glaring error when discussing the twins. You say, "its advised to focus on one twin at a time, as they are much weaker alone," but the twins' main gimmick is designed to trick gamer's instincts on this. If you choose to focus on one twin, the other can heal the endangered one, at a very slight cost to its own health. The fight goes on several times longer than it needs to if you focus on one twin at a time. Also, once one twin is dead, the other twin becomes stronger and more aggressive.
You know what this documentary made me realize? We need an exploder praetorian.
Isn't that just a bulk/crassus detonator?
@@SodaDone question. How many Bulks do you face vs. how many Praetorians? How do you react when you hear a bulk vs. how do you react when you see a Praetorian? We have guard, praetorian, oppressor. We have exploder, bulk. They need a praetorian that is also an exploder. Something half way between.
@@SodaDone I don't react different between bulk and crassus.
I canât wait to hear about the core stones!
how do you get your voice
Do to the similarity to the explosive plants found in some regions, It is theorized that the Exploder could be the result of parasitic spores released during the plant's detonation.
For the stalker I find a charged pickaxe followed by a regular hit kills them in one go and works for any dwarf
Def not on haz 5 with 4 players
personally I've found that stalkers are quite vunrable to damage in their green eyes, also from part 1 I don't believe agenst the dreadnought twins focus fire on 1 would work, you want to split your fire evenly so they don't heal as much, thus saving ammo and time,
Glyphid Stalkers are highly vulnerable to melee damage, with a well placed power attack often ensuring their death
Managment doesn't warn dwarves, mission controll does. Stalkers tend to burroow imidietly once spotted, so I'd reccoment using a weapon with high burst damage.
@@Karak-_- depends how far away they are. If pinged or damaged from far away, they'd prefer to reposition, if close, they charge in for an attempted attack.
wer rich!
Oh hey, you fixed the brood nexus. Props to ya.
It's what Karl would do!
I love how you actually made corrections based on what you got wrong. That's a lot more than some people do, good on ya!
hot sex has such a diverse and interesting biodiversity
A very effective strategy against stalkers is drillers sticky flames, sludge (or ice OC) in the general direction their screeches are heard. they will immediately decloak when stepping on it. thus creating any form of circle or perimeter wall can keep them away. scouts IFG and flares can also illuminate the room/specific area, making it easier to detect them (unless your in zones with blue backgrounds.) Any further input is greatly appreciated, ROCK & STONE miners!
Employees have reported encountering some sort of unidentified Glyphid upon returning from missions, said employees refer to it as a "Ghostly abomination that no gun can kill". The higher-up's have our doubts however, and that's why at the Deep Rock Galactic company would like to contract you to investigate these claims into this "Unknowable horror" and put these foolish roomers to rest.
also the glyphids that are impenetrable by bullets and must be mined directly
Management does know of and does not doupt their existence who else would put the "haunted cave" advisory on a mission and PAY MORE for missions with it
@@Streetcleanergaming (Just pretend this was before it got it's name, or Management named it that as a joke believing the stories where just paranoia, don't spoil the magic!)
â@@commanderblackheart5856I shall preserve the magic with formaldehyde
Are you talking about Shia?
i love videogames
Same
To be perfectly clearly: I personally never played this game, so what am I going to say is purely hypothetical and by extension it's probably not applicable in the game itself. So if the Glyphid stalkers camoflage is based on chromatophores, then use a flamethrower or other fire based weaponry, if the chromatophore skin become damaged enough on a large enough surface area, their camouflage become unusable.
That's actually almost exactly how it works in-game. If you manage to set them on fire and they get away, they'll still be on fire when they reappear, revealing them instantly. They can't properly cloak themselves until the fire is doused
Furthermore electricity seems to disable their camouflage, perhaps by causing the muscles controlling the chromatophores to spasm, rendering it useless
@@fishyfishyfishy500akabs8 Good point, somehow I didn't think about that one
i fuckin love lore channels with this kinda voice, idk what it is about em.
David Attenborough ah
Rock and Stone!
ROCK AND STONE!!!!
This makes me feel like watching national geographic well done
I need more of these it makes me feel smart cmon give us a rockpox documentarie
Rockpox script has been written, just doing final checks before filming commences!
Awesome video, love your content!
So cool! Great video!
ive said this before on another video but i think it would be so fun if there was a final deep dive mission and the boss is a COLOSSAL glyphid dreadnought nearly as big as the damn drop pod itself, the dreadnought king or queen
we are currently still drilling deeper, who knows what Deeprock finds down there...
Thanks for featuring us!
Absolutely our pleasure! Thanks for watching
My guess for how Stabber Vines location dwarves is that they utilize vibrations and stab wherever they're coming from. Since we know of the vast network of regular thorny vines, it can be easily assumed that stabber vines also have tendrils that expand throughout the bark, allowing for them to know a dwarf's location via their footsteps. The eye part of Wall Eyes seem to be a mutation of a type of lichen that had been growing in Crystalline Caverns and the Radioactive Exclusion Zone. Due to the fact that it was a mutation most likely caused by the intense radiation and/or intense and constant shocks of electrifying crystals, they seem to serve no other purpose than to observe the lichen's surroundings as they do not have any forms of defense. The Tumorous Growths seen in the radioactive exclusion zone seem to be maggots that have been hit with radiation so extreme that they have fused with the cave wall, slowly starving to death as their influx of nutrients goes stagnant, leaving behind a tumorous growth attached to the wall where it's body once lay. -A fellow Hoxxes IV researcher
Brood Nexus are not a glyphids. They have glyphid in their name but that's only because they create Glyphid Spawn. "While we know for a fact that Glyphids hatch from eggs, these malodorous, organic protuberances nonetheless expel freshly birthed and ravenous Glyphid Swarmers. It's theorized that the Brood Nexus is a completely separate genus, somehow able to replicate the DNA of other species, and use their "designs" for its own protection." They are something other than a glyphid, they're a creature that basically replicates glyphid swarmers (assumably because they're the simplest to copy) and spits them out for defense. -Fellow Hoxxes IV researcher.
