2 years late to the party but HOLY FUCK I have never witnessed an intro go so hard as this 24:48 I replayed this probably a hundred times, this is fucking amazing (had to dislike the video though because you got one critical fact wrong: there is most definitely white hank r34, from all the way back in 2021. To be honest, charged attacks are essential for me in taking down soldats and atp engineers in arena mode, a charged + critical attack with a decent weapon will one shot every non-miniboss or boss enemy

so this is my take on madness project nexus's lore, So Project nexus (ingame) is a soldier program designed to make super strong soldiers, aka the sleep walkers, the way they do this is by giving them their S_3LF this is sort of like a soul being ripped out of The Other Place which is a kind of afterlife that all Nevadans go to after death it also what seems to be the thing holding Nevada itself together, Project Nexus was meant to rip these souls out of The Other Place to make super soldiers, but doing this cause Nevada to begin to crumble into The Nowhere, a sort of portal to The Other Place, that's why if Project Nexus is stopped Nevada will stay, but if it is destroyed all the souls linked to The Other Place will be destroyed as well, still dooming Nevada. This is where Arena Mode Comes in, in Arena Mode you enmesh yourself to when you chose your origin and imprinted yourself (choosing an origin at the start of Arena) at the end of Arena Mode you sacrifice yourself to The Nowhere where your soul is taken to The Other Place, but since you enmeshed yourself, your body is pulled back to the point in time where you choose your origin but the soul given to the other place still counts and you get your soul back saving Nevada because i guess your soul is like a 20 pack of waters in one soul, saving Nevada from doom, so you are trapped in your own personal time loop and the souls still are being extracted translate to present day.

Sorry if my comments seem critical, I'm just pointing out the stuff I had problems with. I enjoyed the video a lot :3 I am hyped for a potential sequel/dlc, sheriff is one of my favorite characters and i'd love to see him and christoff team up as protagonists for once. I don't think you enjoyed your second run of arena mode because it looks like you made the exact same character... A lot of the fun in arena mode is trying out different playstyles, instead of just going for a guns build every time. I recently tried out a hybrid acrobatics/unarmed build with the experiment and it was some of the most fun I've had in the game.

You didn't explain tac-bars quite right, but i don't blame you because as you said the game doesn't tell you a lot. Green tac-bars cause bullets that it blocks to graze you, dealing reduced damage. Blue tac-bars dodge bullets completely. Tac-bars can be downgraded if you're hit in unfavorable ways; if you're hit from behind or in a sweet spot. When a green tac-bar is downgraded it's full out ignored, and if a blue tac-bar is downgraded it turns into a graze. It can be downgraded twice, though, so if you shoot a Soldat from behind and in your sweet spot you'll hit it, while you only need to do one of the two to hit an Engineer. It's a really cool mechanic, but the only place you're told exactly how it works is in the arena mode perk descriptions.

i wish you would've played episode 1.5 in mpn classic, it's a huge lore drop and pretty much all of the sequel's story is based on it
