Ten year old video still saving money and time. Had no idea this existed on my boat. Found it. Popped it. Lo and behold, motor works again. THANK YOU FROM 2024
👀TK. I like the video view 😂
Great Video and put me in the right direction. I have one problem, i broke the 1/16 drill bit cleaning it out. got to agressive. How do i fix it so I can use the motor speedometer?
Did you figure it out? I broke a bit in my lower unit also.
After doing this, is the only way to know if it’s fixed is to get it in the water?
Which side should the primer be on the tank side or closer to the motor
When your running low can you just add more oil or do you need to do a complete change out at that time? About how many hours between change outs with oil filter change?
Thank you!
Excellent!
👍👍👍👍👍
I watched this useful video saved me couple hundreds dollars. Thanks. Please post some more.
Two years later this motor is going strong th-cam.com/users/postUgkxBZWgzfpS2Jj7JqIHyaSZjyVHNUgCKCBf Just uploaded a video of it after 2 years. We use it probably a dozen days each year on our small raft.-original review- We got this motor the other day and tested it out. I don't have anything to compare it to, but it seems good to me. It has all the features advertised - the motor housing is metal. We will see how it performs longer term and I will revise this review if needed. Some initial observations:- Good thrust, moves our boat around really well- It comes with a circuit breaker but no switch - so there's no way to kill the motor other than yanking the connection off the battery. I installed an inline switch.- The mount bracket is plastic and I worry it might break- There are a number of plastic parts that I worry about, but the most important ones are metal or some kind of composite
Thank you 🙏🏼 this was answer to my prayer. I bought a whole new multifunction gauge cause I thought that was the problem. Glad it wasn’t and I glad I did not throw the old one away cause it wasn’t the problem.
Fantastic and appreciated
Any idea where I can get those battery terminal connections that attach to the circuit breaker? Thanks!
Great video!! My current system does not have breakers, it has in-line fuses -- can I add breakers just like this boat has, and remove those inline fuses?
Wow, this video saved me $ and trip to the repair shop! I can’t believe how easy it was to fix my trolling motor with just one button lol.
THANKS SO MUCH! I would have never known this, i figured my trolling motor was bad, this saved me a trip to the dealer and lots of $$$
how about tach fix
Thanks, I was troubled that my 2004 F115TLRC oil level was incorrect or burning oil as my level was only abut half way on the stick markers
Thank you - I followed your advice to the tee … it worked perfectly. Thank you for your video !!
My rpm are low on my Yamaha 150 where do i start?
Very good video easy to follow.
Appreciate it!!!
Thank You, helped me and saved me a bunch of grief
*Great little trolling motor **enjoyable.fishing** recommend had it hooked up to my 15 foot old town canoe and it pushed it pretty good with me and my son (220 pounds each).*
Can you do a video on how to fix rpm gauge on Yamaha outboard 115
I tried this the other day and gear oil started leaking out of the speedometer hole on the lower unit😮💨
thank you, fixed my speedo following your directions.
Worked. Thanks!
Thank you!
Thanks, dude. Replaced the corroded breaker and we're back on the water!
What a terrific video. I remember when I choked Austin with my speedo
Who needs viagra when you have videos like this to watch? It really gets you going.
This guy is awesome, didn’t think I could get my Speedo to work at my age
This guy definitely wears tighty whities
My favorite part is when he uses the blow gun
I had to watch this video twice, this handsome man that works so well with his hands is too distracting. Find some less attractive people for the helpful DIY.
Tried this, and it worked. Thank-you.
This video is well made/ and a great reference. I had to come back and watch again years later because I forgot. A MUST FOR TROLLING MOTOR OWNERS
Thank you for video
Can I blow air from the other side to blow stuff out I think there is metal stuck in mine
Can I blow air from the other side to try the blow stuff out I think there is a piece of metal stuck in mine
Thanks!
Thanks for making this video. Didn't even know the motor had a breaker at the battery.
Where else would my breaker be on a 2012 bass tracker? It’s not on the battery like it is in this video
Thank you very much !!!!👍
Great video! I learned something! Thanx
All you did was drain the filter when you flipped it over. The particulates don’t come out so the whole glass jar thing was a waste of time. You should have cut the filter housing open and looked at the element inside to see the particulates.
Sir, you are amazing. Thank you. I kept getting this cotton looking material out of it, and was scared to go any further.. Well, it was fully plugged up.. in fact, it was so badly plugged up, it was acting like a little old lady on a straight cheese diet. Appreciate the video!! If you're making any new videos, I'll sub. Just reply back and I'll smash that sub button..
I just put one on an omc 5.0 cobra, a 30 year old engine....working on getting it to turn over eventually...could it possibly hurt the fuel pump it I put it in as instructed with no fuel...also it said oil for the seal for coatin..which thought was strange considering it's a fuel/water filter... that ok as well?
