Do you recommend these bricks or blocks for the perimeter wall
@MouthwateringBudgetMeals Hi I never evaluated the benefits of both but certainly using farm bricks is cheaper however two years down the line I will need to plaster them to ensure longevity. Not sure if blocks don't need plastering
@chrismafico thanks. I am surprised kuti farm bricks are cheaper. Blocks anoda plastering also

Well done
@remykahari5249 thank you 🙏
Very nice house. Truely inspiring.
@Msaigwa70 thank you, greatly appreciated 🙏
if you are going to be part of that village life you better make you also attend those events otherwise one day you will have your own wedding or funeral with no locals something you may likely regret. Local is great but when it comes to the pace be prepared for those distractions.
@gtiggsmusicstudent yes indeed now that I'm visiting more often I will definitely be more involved and taking part wherever I can.
My hood, lovely neighbourhood but it gets really cold in winter and the annoying train when it does pass by albeit rarely these days

Is there a rural development levy? And a building code?
I believe you only pay levy on commercial stands if building a shop for instance. Not sure about the building code.
Do you have to pay a rural development Levy?

Hi Maffy how much did the roofing cost
Hi it was $9 666 materials, transport & labour.
How deep is your well and capacity per day?
Borehole is 45m , not sure capacity per day but survey showed there is plenty of water.
hie Chris , nice house , where were you buying your aluminium windows, can you give me the contacts if you have them
Hi and thank you. Windows are actually imitation of aluminium but made of steel which is far cheaper. Unfortunately I lost contact for the person that did them for us.
Amazing job inspired your builders are very good neat job considering its farm bricks. How many farm bricks roughly
Thank you so much. I am yet to reconcile materials used so will have an answer to your question soon 🙏

How did you get the land if I may ask?
We bought the land from a couple that were separating unfortunately and wanted to split their assets.
@@chrismafico do you know if there is any land for sale around that area?
@shelikays5120 the only way to find out is to go to the area and ask to be introduced to the headman and sabhuku. They know all the land available and are responsible for giving it out.
@chrismafico thank you, so what's the name of the area please?
