Grace Of The Elves Item Deep Dive | Runescape 3 (RS3)
Hey everyone! Thanks for clicking on my video!
In this item deep dive, we are taking an in depth look at the Grace Of The Elves in detail, and learning all about this cool skilling item that provides a whole host of skilling buffs!
As far as I can tell, the Scripture is DEFINITELY worth buying, but mainly due to all of the unique and cool quality of life skilling bonuses, and not because of the Seren spirits that you can get while skilling. You MIGHT get the rare Hazelemere signet ring drop, but I wouldn't count on it necessarily.

    Hey, you're putting out some really great stuff imo. Your videos are definitely the kind of thing I sit and work out for fun, ha. I noticed you ask for topic suggestions often, so I wanted to offer a few number-crunchy things I've been thinking about: 1. Comparing average resource gain from arch research missions to determine the best gp/xp on the way to 120. For example, I'm not sure which of the four top-tier sites Stormguard/Daemonheim/Warforge/Orthen has the highest average raw resource value to begin with, but you could also consider the potential artifact gain from each site (what collection it contributes to) and see how that impacts the numbers if the chance for those artifacts is taken into account. 2. Similarly, I'd be interested in a breakdown for various collections to potential farm on the way to maxing the skill that have various ancillary benefits, with an xp comparison alongside. For example, Dragonkin V is great for dungeoneering tokens and often breaks roughly even with chronotes, but Dragonkin VI requires 2 more artifacts, loses about 500k gp, and rewards a dungeoneering wildcard, which could be assigned a token value if players are training dungeoneering as buying cards with tokens is the fastest way to level in Daemonheim. The card might not be worth the extra time and gp costs, but it would be interesting to consider. Similarly, under level 110, players camp Green Gobbo Goodies I for tetracompasses at a loss of 500k in materials per collection, but how does this compare to the higher level Dragonkin I, which breaks even in chronotes and gives arch recipe fragments (worth about 3m each), dino skeleton fragments, and Anarchronia resource packs which can be used to charge Dream of Iaia skilling stations? Again, these alternatives might not actually be good, but it would be cool to see some comparisons that take into account the time each collection takes to complete, the money lost or gained, the xp gained from restoring the artifacts, and any additional rewards that might be valuable to some players. 3. Finally, something I've struggled with a lot is wrapping my head around invention materials. I would love to see some kind of generalized analysis that creates an index of materials that have use or value and then looks at what materials are the most efficient when value is placed on all of those materials rather than just maximizing for a single output. This could be framed as a "what to put in your dissassembler" guide for utility rather than money. It could also help people training the skill who can't make a Scavenging 4 perk yet or don't want to use that method but would like to get a good foundation of resources. 3a. As a sort of side idea to the above, you could also make a general guide to components, as some of them have weird limited uses, such as needing 15 variable components for the Auto-screener, but not for making anything else or creating any good perks, so need for that component is very finite for each account. Simply seeing a distribution of all the comps and how often a player might expect to need to use them, and at what scale, would be really helpful for returning players. For example, I have 8000 crafted parts and I still have no idea if that's "a lot" or "a little" relative to the expected lifetime need for that comp. This could also take into account the amounts and types of materials needed for the goblins and dwarves, which is finite but could catch players off guard. Thanks for reading my suggestions and I'm looking forward to seeing your next piece!

    What I do is use the kingdom to get me mahogany logs and maple logs, pick them up in the fort, run them across to the work bench. Pop the maple logs into the disassembler and the mahogany logs into the plank maker. I get money from the planks and simple parts to create empty divine charges Then every so often I spend a day filling them up, to either sell or recharge everything with. Yeah, it's not as much money as I could make but it's still something and it keeps me in constant supply of energy

    Thanks for all the videos on these! I personally chose to diversify my machines a bit, I dont know if this is the most efficient use (actually it definitely isnt haha) but what I have is: 1x auto disassembler using the kingdom's maple logs 2x alchemiser doing ascension bolts, might not be the most profit per item but it's stable & can easily buy in big quantities 2x partial potion, currently doing harralander, again not because it makes the most profit (it doesnt) but because the ROI is pretty good which means less risky (ie even if I pay a bit more & sell for a bit less because prices changed, itll still make profit)

      Hi there! Hopefully I can help out. Looks like the current GE price of divine charges is 139K. So at a 1:3000 divine charge -> machine charge rate, we are looking at each machine charge costing about 46GP each. So the numbers in the calculations should change a little bit for each machine, because the charges are a bit more expensive since I published the video, but the spirit of it all is the same. Is worth it to use ultra compost if I got the master cape?

    • @BlueSmokeGamingRS
      @BlueSmokeGamingRS 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Tldr; At current GE prices, the ultracompost is technically better than the free supercompost from the master cape, but it is only marginally so. Personally, I would stick with the master cape, because it sounds a lot more annoying to have to worry about carrying buckets around as you complete your runs. Great question! The master cape automatically provides supercompost on its own, so we are looking to see if the additional life given by the ultracompost outweighs the cost of using it. Assuming you have plant power 4, and are planting dwarf weeds with 120 farming as a case study: Ultracompost instant buy = -6099GP Grimy Dwarf Weed Instant Sell Price = 5390GP Probability Of Saving An Herb Life = 32.73% Expected Yield Per Patch With Master Cape Supercompost = 25.27 Herbs Expected Yield Per Patch With Ultracompost = 26.76 Gain in herbs with Ultracompost = 1.49 Extra GP From Extra Herbs = 1.49*5390 - 6099 = 1932.1GP So it looks like gain in herbs from ultracompost outweighs the free supercompost from the master cape, but only minorly.

Either way, my hope is that the lessons of the video stick and you can make more informed decisions moving forward on your journey! Good luck!

      Making money off disassembling is when I finally used advanced algebra in real life lol. Because you can only value cost compare one comp from dissing on the wiki or with basic math you have to start setting up series of equations and multi variable replacements. Rabbit hole is right because then you have to keep checking with price fluctuations of both every material and every output. Tl;dr use every part of the buffalo when both picking what to diss assemble and what to make. Maple logs into empty charges IS a perfectly good baseline though and generally functions like a better alch machine but I personally CANNOT give up my alch machine to process things like elite dungeon relics and Rex loot

I used 2 auto alchemiser t2 and 2 dismantler t2(thought i make more on the dismantler that im thinking of discontinuing the alchemiser). With my current setup if i did the math right make about 600m a month.

      @Cellular_Snow I usually get my own resources or buy in small batches within my gp range. Been wanting to return but with bonds seeming to just rise n rise it's been a deterrent, especially since I'm horrible at pvm lmao. Used to have some methods that worked fairly regularly for making at least 40m in 14 days but I'm very out of date 😆 Gonna buy a few bonds next return from gov n try to figure out a good method so I can get at least 2 bonds a bond. Money grind on one bond n skill/quest on the other.

    • @BlueSmokeGamingRS
      @BlueSmokeGamingRS ปีที่แล้ว

      @@mrgibbons9995 Ahhh I totally understand. Yeah, bonds are a bit crazy. There are definitely some good skilling methods that can fund your bonds, so long as you are able to put enough play time in. There are some methods with the Brooch that are REALLY good GP per hour, you just have to look around and be creative. Runecrafting is well known to be good GP, but requires a lot of input. Smithing elder rune +4 or +5 equipment can make you good GP, and is largely AFK. Also, I have another video on making construction materials which might be worth checking out, but also be careful with those prices. Even if you are relatively inexperienced at PVM, the God Wars Dungeon 1 (GWD1) bosses might be worth a try. There are some budget friendly AFK setups for Kree'ara and K'ril Tsutsaroth, whose unique drops are worth a good chunk of GP. Especially K'ril right now, because the subjugation equipment is confirmed to be used in the new Necromancy skill. Hope to see you around Gielinor!

    8:15 kind of sums up why portables are so toxic to the economy. You're not getting a boost, you *have* to use the boost. Runescape is a game about freedom, and while some things give boosts, none are so strong that you're forced to use them. Portables completely throw that out the window. If you're not doing a production skill at a portable, you lose hundred millions of GP. I quit because 90% of the game was doing dailies then sitting at Combat Academy getting my ears blasted out by annoying pets.

    • @BlueSmokeGamingRS
      @BlueSmokeGamingRS ปีที่แล้ว

      Your point is definitely well taken. Jagex has over the years put themselves in a bad spot with regards to artisan skills and portables. As you said, Runescape is a game that thrives on freedom, and artisan skills have entirely lost that. I don't even recall the original intent of portables when they first released. My recollection is that they were just meant to be boosts from treasure hunter for a short time, and not intended to be in game long term. Somehow, someway though, they became the norm to the point that now Jagex is supporting them as "content" (With releases like the brooch) even though they are still just treasure hunter rewards (as far as I know). And now, they can't ever remove the portables without offering an alternative that functionally does the same thing or better, without severely angering a large portion of the player base. It really is a tough spot for the developers and players now. I know it can be frustrating at times, but hopefully you can find a reason to get back into the game, because I think there is so much fun to be had. Maybe finding a good active clan that is interested in the types of content you want to participate in would help a lot. In any case, hopefully I will see you around Gielinor sometime soon!
