BTS of the ExCEL Now 2024 Event
Exciting times at Marine Corps Base Hawaii!
We're thrilled to share a behind-the-scenes look at the ExCEL Now 2024 event, hosted by DCI Next.
This incredible 2-day event brought together defense innovators from INDOPACOM units like the 3d Marine Littoral Regiment, government agencies, industry leaders, and R&D experts.
Witnessing the future battlespace and groundbreaking technologies from Dannar and Digital Force Technologies, powered by DIU Onramp Hubs, was truly inspiring.
At Credo, we are proud to align with DCI Next's mission to ‘Strengthen National Security by Empowering the Warfighter,’ and look forward to our ongoing partnership.

    Even if you had a module or rocket made out of carbon nanotubes and graphene boronitride to withstand extremely high temperature, you would need a thermal protection system and ablative tiles on top. - The thought is that even if you lose a tile or two, the underlying skin, tapes, and tiles would be able to withstand Extreme Temperatures and Pressures of re-entry. I remember the Columbia Disaster vividly, and I was 5 years old

    The inaccurate closed captions are really distracting. "Mach 50", "Back 5", "Nassar", "Lancia", "Couple" ... If I was you, I would just remove the hard subs. The TH-cam subtitles are way better. They don't contain as many errors. Anyone who requires or prefers subtitles on their videos will probably have the TH-cam closed captions enabled anyways.

    Im a aquaculture engineer, technically or non technical terminology will never get changed. You spelled wrong. If the species of L.Vanamei and p.mondon are shrimps 🦐 because they grown and lives in salt water completely mariculture, The aquatic species which we grow in fresh water species is called a prawns . Scampi is a prawn. Not everything is a prawn . The names "shrimp" and "prawn" are often used interchangeably, and understandably. Shrimp and prawns have a lot in common: They both are decapod crustaceans (meaning they have 10 legs and exoskeletons), they both live near the floor of whatever body of water they inhabit, and their outer appearance-as well as when they're cooked-is very similar. However, it may surprise you to learn that shrimp and prawns are not even the same animals. Shrimp are part of the sub-order Pleocyemata, while prawns belong to the sub-order Dendrobranchiata. Anatomically both shrimp and prawn are not the same. Please don't make the wrong statement's

      Probably when he showed up with N4EZ at Watsonville Flyin in late 70s. I was there. I saw it and started building a VariEze. I lived in Lancaster. I took out parts to his hangar. He looked at them and gave me his opinion. Only had a receptionist and himself. BUT I spied a brand new Apple II computer on his work desk. Knew he was cutting edge. N4EZ was parked outside. And outside front door….the upside down VariEZ wing with winglet pointed down. Static test I think. Also trying to figure out how hot Mojave temps and suns rays would effect the epoxy cured in wing.

    There are a few "downsides" that come with every space cannon. The projectile has to be a mixture of a classical projectile and a rocket. So it needs a "weight" or some kind of cone like head which works as a heat shield too for FOC (forward of center), the enormous friction generated by travelling supersonic through the air etc. This metal "head" has to be dropped and then a small rocket motor has to bring the "cargo" into an orbit, probably even has to dock on some satellite or space station ... So I'd say designing the projectile is as difficult as designing a rocket. So better the metal head of the projectile does not fall down where anyone is living. It is like a small meteorite .... let's say the projectile's mass is just 100 kg then probably the metal head is half of it but you probably want to scale it bigger so probably you want one ton or more, thus the metal head has to go bigger and having a solid metal object coming down with the speed and size of some of the larger meteorites is not what you want. So you have a scaling problem for the projectile.

    TDLR sent me here! Have you guys considered G force upon launch? Its actually very doable to make it safe for human travel. Look into some chinese grav lev trains. Study nature as well. Thats what China did to design their greatest machines. Good luck, I hope to be buying tickets from you guys in the future! PS. Look into space tourus companies, I smell collab potential.

    • @JWQweqOPDH
      @JWQweqOPDH ปีที่แล้ว

      I watched a longer interview and they said acceleration will be over 100 G IIRC. Current rockets would kill some humans in less than ideal health. You'd need a gun/launcher at least 100 kilometers long *and* a rocket second stage in order to even hope for a human to survive. Note that they correctly point out that non-human cargo will always be the vast majority of mass sent to space, regardless of how many people are living in space.

    I have been saying that this was going to happen since I was 14, I'm currently 30. I have been designing technology for this industrial space revolution since. I have Self Sustaining EVs, I have a high powered extremely fast moon rover, I have designed space crafts, suits, and even weapons that can be used in space without issues. The problem is I created them too soon & when I tried to reach out to Elon Musk 2 years ago & he stole my ideas & didn't include me within the projects. About 6-8 months ago he said he had a new engine that he created & that his new EVs will be able to give you clean water & you can refill your EV batteries water with fresh water. All of which is my ideas.
