SUPERMAN 2, THE RICHARD DAUGHTER CUT. I believe the first issue of this DVD has commentary by Richard donner. I am not sure about this cuz I'm not great at keeping up with it. It's been reissued but I don't think the newer additions have Mr daughters commentary. Talk about screwing him out of a whole movie picture! Never heard of anybody making a whole movie and then it having to be redone all over again because of director contracts. What a bunch of crap. Like your channel man I'll do whatever I can to help you find other things to put up there.
Look at me! I subscribed!
Hey, thank you so much for your support!
That helicopter story was WILD
Right? I can't believe that happened!
Our favorite board was the Temple. When the alarm sounded towards the end of the match, we'd all head to what we called "The Main Room" and have a shootout.
I loved Temple as well, always my favorite.
0:40 The added "whooo" bit for when the henchman gets ejected always makes me laugh. 😂
Hehehhe, I'm glad you like it. I put it in because it makes me chuckle as well lol.

"The crabs didn't want to know."
I disagree with the argument that making Bond more human made him boring, and Brosnan's Bond proves this. The climax of Goldeneye, where Trevalyan says to Bond "For England, James?" in his sardonic way, anticipating Bond's response from the film's opening and implying Bond is just a minion carrying out his master's commands. But Bond's response changes, and we see the veneer of secret agent slip to reveal a man hurt by the betrayal of a friend, and now granted an opportunity to put things right - "no......for me". Or in Tomorrow Never Dies, where the "office girls" are all giggling at the prospect of Bond "pumping" Paris Carver for information, emphasis on the "pumping". But Bond is uncharacteristically cold and doesn't have any euphemistic quips to throw back at them, and as the film progresses we learn why; he was still in love with her, and hurt by having to leave her for his job. But the writing and plot are not wholly consumed by these themes, at least not in these two films. You need to have everything in balance.
This is well thought-out reasoning, I like it! Thank you for sharing this perspective.
Okay I think I got one for you man. The original DVD editions of EVIL DEAD 1 AND 2. Only those versions have commentary by Bruce campbell.the updated easily available additions of these movies have the mistakes glazed over kind of like a George Lucas changing history thing but, the first issue of those films Bruce Campbell talks about the mistakes that were made which I think is important historically. Hopefully this helps.
This is a great idea, thank you! Please let me know if you have any more you can think of
What in the world?
is Carmen Sandiego
This is out there and that may not be up your alley. I've always been fascinated with a Victorian era that. Apparently, there were many brands of women's bereavement cigarettes in England in the late 1800s. I've heard videos discuss them not but I haven't seen one package of any of these. This would probably require some serious going to a library and not on the internet sort of thing. Plus sadly not I think I'm the only one that cares so you always get my thumbs up anyway but I'm not sure if that would transition to anybody else giving a crap about it.
Zev, is your real name Heder, Jon Heder?
My favorite animal is the Liger. They are bred for their skills in magic.
I wish all movie commentaries were this candid.
This is gold! Thanks for sharing.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Richard Maibaum sounds a lot like Richard Feynman
I had such a man-crush on Feynman when I was younger and discovered science lol.
Don’t understand why these were banned
Sending you some love to up your numbers.
Thank you very much!
Ahhhh, keep em coming.
The end approaches!
From Russia With Love is probably one of the movies that adheres closest to the novel. I love both. Very interesting commentary.
Yes, I agree it is a very faithful retelling
Yessssss
SHOCKING
6:05 ...Ian was awfully impressed by this LMAO
My favorite bit was the story in the water & the flaming water & the D Day trial run. These are great BTW.
I can't even think of any other media commentaries that have been banned like this. So what are you going to do next after these?
Not sure, got any ideas?
@@ZevStellar The Thing commentary track had banned bits they had to replace later on.
This was the best of all the commentaries thus far. It's no shortage of kudos for you for editing things the way you have. It's really sad to see such successful people basically killing themselves so they don't have to suffer more. You really put a great period to the end of this sentence for Russia film. Thank you.
It's pretty tragic to hear.
SHOCKED to my CORE
ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING
That is a clever workaround using the N64 music not keep you from getting flagged for using the film score tunes thanks for the collection of band commentary.
I actually am his friend and gave him that advice, thank you.
@@Smoloko123 This is not true lol..... I've never met this man in my life.
It is a great soundtrack!
The books original cliff-hanger should have been used in the film
This movie (I first watched in 1982 on TV age 15) was my introduction to Matt Monro (Terry Parsons). Today, I would have to say that he is my favourite vocalist/singer. I own all his remastered albums, now available on iTunes.
Thank you for sharing!
I'm edging for more
Not sure if I should be flattered or worried
The common denominator about Pedro's deadly cancer diagnosis, was that he and John Wayne, Agnes Moorehead all died of Cancer, probably exposure on the movie they were on near the Nevada location where the atomic bombs were tested. The movie was called "The Conqueror" in 1956
Very interesting and tragic story!
Great stuff, looking forward to these!
Thank you glad you like them!
Thanks for uploading these
Glad you like them!
Thank you - enjoying it.
Thank you for your support, glad you enjoy it!
Maibaum calling Fleming a "snob" who isn't interested in the writing is perfectly accurate.
The movies are better than the books, hard agree.
My buttocks are clenching in anticipation. 😅
Those are some right randy old bastards, aren't they now? I Love it!!!
They are fun to listen to!
"BANNED" or just not sold anymore because they remastered all this for DVD releases. Come on buddy no need to hype this up dishonestly.
They aren't on new releases, you literally can't buy these anywhere to listen to them.
@@ZevStellar You're listening to them right now.
Yes, one can see why Mr. Broccoli was slightly miffed eh?
Indeed.
Thanks!
You bet!

@ZevStellar texture snapshots in the recording if you have such a thing, what will happen next where in the game at the end there are visual effects that can cover the entertainment screen. I have rx7900 xtx and the only thing I have when turning off the game is when the cursor is visible and no errors apart from jumping between textures in 3 places.
What do you expect from ol' Christopher Columbus? That being said... I watch this movie every Christmas to give a Christmas Story a break, but to just hate every character. They are all terrible 🤣🤣🤣... also... Morty's dad is in it. And Lisa Simpson... and that's great.
True story, when this movie came out my mom, sister, and I were living out of a car and cheap motels because my father up and left our family. My mom was working two jobs just to support us. This was Christmas 96. I was six years old at the time. We didn’t get presents that year, not that I was holding it against my mom. It was valuable lesson on what actually matters in life, and it sure as hell wasn’t toys. We did not see this movie at first run theaters but at the $1 movie theater a couple months later. At the time I really liked Arnold Schwarzenegger, idolized this man as someone I wish could have been my father. I didn’t understand why his family was so obsessed with this stupid toy when they had a father who clearly took care of his family and seemed to make every effort to make his son happy. I was so saddened at the end of the movie realizing that I didn’t have a dad, the only real thing I wanted that the ungrateful brat Jamie had. I cried probably harder at the end than at any other point in my life. I know this is a silly video but funny enough it did have a somewhat serious impact on me.
I get that this is a joke, but lowkey some good points in here.
Thank you Abigail!
I think the message the movie is trying to give about Arnold going through all that trouble for the toy is more so that he doesn't want to disappoint his son by breaking promises and actually changing as a person. Its supposed to frame him as not having been a good father or husband and wanting to change that by putting himself at risk to get something his kid wants, to show he does pay attention and no longer wishes to be the promise breaking dad who is too busy. Its a movie from the 80s, so its obviously not going to be a critic of capitalism, the entire era was defined by media giving everyone a false sense of all the bad times being behind the country while drug and aids epidemics sweeped the nation. Believe it or not, people don't like being preached to about politics, especially during the holidays. The 80s was the most consumerist era in our nations history in my opinion, it should be no surprise the movie doesn't take a jab at it, I cant think of any 80s movies that do. By the logic that the movie is glorifying capitalism because its all about the doll, movies like A Christmas story are just a capitalist marketing campaign for Daisy BB guns. Honestly the review just sounds like it was made by a whiney leftist communist who just wants others to be as miserable as them during christmas, and I don't even like capitalism or the way the country works. But whining about it won't do anything, and just makes you sound like a grinch. The movie itself, I haven't watched but its probably not good. The idea isnt bad though, I just think Arnold only has like 3 good movies that arent just 80s cringe.
Movie came out in 96 but I do agree there is definitely an 80s vibe. If this live came out in 86 I wouldn’t haven’t been shocked.
I don’t think this movie was made to say anything profound about capitalism. It’s just a dumb comedy that was trying to cash in on the star power of its 2 main characters.
6:54 It seemed like a critique to me. Arnold and Sinbad are miserable throughout the movie and Ted the neighbor is shown to be a creep. Nobody needed to lose their jobs and no families needed to be torn apart to get the point across that these are not the kind of people we should want to be like.
This is an absolute BANGER. Subbbed
Glad you liked it! Thank you for the sub, more great content on the way!
😂😂😂 @ 12:38 . "That's her waggling her fanny."
Bro your editing is so annoying. Why use the same sounds as Cinema Sins?
Thank you for your constructive feedback!
22:32 I still to this day don't know what that is in the background in Q's lab. Is this like a TRON bike or something?
I literally never noticed that thing, even during the 10+ times I combed through the movie to make this video.... now I can't stop thinking about it. I have no idea what it is!
this is AMAZING.
SHOCKING!
