Religion can only shape how we should respect women. Hinduism moves with time so has lost the ability to forbid women to flaunt themselves inappropriately. The only timeless religion that gives women the utmost highest respect is Islam. Growing up we got desensitised when watching women dance in a provocative manner and didn't really affect us but now the generation is advanced and young children want to be adults which can cause detrimental effects in all sorts of ways. So it's time to stop these item numbers. It's appalling how the Indian actresses show more cleavage nowadays. They might as well wear their underwear. That's how uncomfortable it looks. Can't even watch a hindi movie with my parents anymore or with my children.

Bro..u said what I think n what I feel about these item songs,their impact,n my whole mindset about it..I wish all the "Andha" generation can figure it out as well n stop it before it too late ..so much that it gets hard to recover or reset the whole society's core..cause this BS mindset of enjoying stupid,meaningless songs will eat up our whole generation as well as the upcoming one..

Some things i always say are kids in india are just getting introduced to more and more wrong stuff day by day wether it be gaming movies cartoons and stuff anything I have a niece who was being encouraged ny her mother and father and aunt and grandma to do the haye garmi step and my niece was only 3 years old I couldn't understand how are they not seeing what's wrong with it and such I also had a cousin who i used to call sister but mow means mothing to me she hated the sexualisation stuff we both had our psp and there was a game darkstalkers which showed naked morrigon after beating the game and she looked away from the screen everytime that came up the image wasn't showing anyone completely naked it was censored and but what i had in mind was ok she doesn't like it only to later see her dancing to the item songs of her own will I've always hated bollywood idk why it all felt too cringe to me but now seeing how it impacts people i understand and am glad i never did I've always been dragged to watch bollywood movies by other members of the family lots of times and the movie they wanna watch are definitely not for kids and all and they all bring their kids to the movies Just last year i was 19 forced to go watch a movie with my aunt and her daughter and my other cousin who brought her 2 kids along my niece and nephew and it is the same neice who was told to do the haye garmi step Anyway idk what the movie was i didn't watch it i rather kept thinking of something else but there was a scene of some boy holding up a bra and spinning it around all while my neice and nephew were watching as well neice being 4 years old and nephew being maybe 9 years old idk And for a fact i had a little bit of money and i offered to show them a movie some other time and keeping the kids in mind i chose blue beetle i think that's what it's called i don't remember correctly Well everybody declined the offer because they'd rather have their kids watch bollywood actresses 99.99% naked on big screen dancing around rather then watching something fantasy like It's become too normal i think i also couldn't fathom how my cousin could watch a movie like that with her husband and not say anything to him as well My conclusion is to just let the world end there's nothing that can be done here people have become too stupid to try and fix now

It really influences kids in a very negative way, the actors and actresses who do all these things publicly and try to enhance their social status, it shouldn't be. But the thing that you mentioned about the prestigious college in which people dance, are adults. They know what is correct and what is wrong. The thing is whatever they do should not be publicized. I saw a video wherein a 9/10 years old girl was dancing on ramta jogi, she was undoubtedly fabulous but her expressions were sensuas, few people in comment section pointed that out and then as usual 100s of people were replying them to mind their own business, that they should have little bit of knowledge about dancing, how illiterate they must be in their childhood, how much big failure they must be now etc. So yes, as a society we have come really far and have become indeed "open minded".
