    Good question. I actually don't need, but good to be prepared. Sometimes, while improvising, a high note comes to my mind and I want to be able to do it well because in exactly this moment it would match with my idea. And yes, correctly done, they feel good.

    A pure high note elevates the emotion of a song. A lot of songs (classic) are composed with high notes.

    • @natasanahtigal24
      @natasanahtigal24 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes 😍 I think songs like this are beautiful, but they are not good for all voices. That is why I think, if we really want to feel good within when we are singing, we need to find where our authentic voice shines the most. ✨ We don’t need to think that we need to sing high to be good singers. What do you think? 😊

    This reminds me of dance and choreography theory. That’s all about how our bodies exist and relate to and interact with the space around us. And my voice coach told me when we inhale be conscious of taking up more space and that it’s ok to take up space. Society is often sending the opposite message that we need to be as small as possible (aka fit and thin) and take up as little space as possible. Very interesting to think about to me.

    Hello Natasa! Thanks for your instructive videos! They are among my favorite singing explanations. Let me ask you a question. I have a quite rooted unconscious habit of squeezing high notes by pulling up my larinx. Any suggestion how to rewrite my habit and let the vocal cords stretch freely? I LOVE this Natasa! I went 20-30 years without people hearing my singing voice. Now it feels like a playground where I can explore and have fun even if I mess up. 🙂 I pray everyone living now will get a hold of the thoughts expressed here so we no longer have to hide such a beautiful gift we have all been given. I was walking the other day while singing and I became sad because my voice didn’t seem to project out or have power. Then I remembered I usually sing in a small room with different acoustics. Then I remembered to cup my hand around my ear to hear myself better and my confidence came back and I was back to having fun. This is a very deep subject, but necessary to tackle, especially for our overall health. God bless you. 🙂

    For a long time I avoided lowered larynx because I thought it would cause me to pull chest voice up. I struggled with not connecting with my head voice, so I used it anyway a few weeks ago and it has helped a lot, but I lacked consistency and I didn't understand what was happening. Now I have a much better idea and know some things to look out for, thank you! I still don't know for sure if I'm singing in head and mixed voice properly because notes don't sound the same going up a scale as they do coming back down the scale. Hoping you make more videos like this so I can understand better.

      @natasanahtigal24 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hello! Thank you for your message! 😍 I am very happy that the video was beneficial for you. And thank you for the question/idea about mixing head and chest voice. It happens to a lot of singers that our voice sounds different when we go from low to high notes compared to when we go from high to low notes. In my experience, this mostly has to do with the position of our pronunciation not being as natural as it is when we speak. It's hard to explain in writing, but I will definitely do a video about that in the near future!! 🙌🙌🙌 I will let you know! 🎶🎤😊
