this is the most beautiful piece of music i've ever heard man
Human sadness and the demo will always hold a dear place in my heart. I remember I first found Human Sadness the day before my brother died. I was in bed listening to music before my last week of high school and stumbled on the full song. My first thought was " Man, Harrison is gonna love this I can't wait to show him!". Then after my AP test next morning, I came home to learn he passed away the previous night while at college. Over the next few days of mourning, I played it probably a hundred times until I finally stumbled on the demo. It just made sense to me.. finding them both when I did. It felt like a storyboard. Who knows maybe he would have heard both and thought "ehh it's not my thing".. I mean that hardly matters now. The version I remember of him likes it and we listen to them all the time

It is by Sam Adoquei, this painting seems to be when this version of Human Sadness plays just in the mini documentary mentioned in the description. As a fact, Sam is the stepfather and artistic mentor of Julian Casablancas, since his mother divorced and then he married Adoquei's, in fact part of the definitive version of Human Sadness deals with Julian Casablancas's relationship with his biological father. I have never seen Julian cry in my life so these lyrics really hit hard man
he's strong enough to forget about all the shit he has gone through in stage/camera. i see him and admire him by the way he sings, has an amazin voice and vocal range, but behind all that talent, there's a person who divorced and had the fault, felt guilty about it, had to see his parents getting divorced as well, many relationships with not a good ending, idk. i kinda feel bad about it. he seems to be a really sweet person. btw sorry for the long text i felt inspired by this song
btw this song was wrote way before his divorce. anyways he has gone through very tough situations in the past.
