Imagine telling the Jews they don't understand their own bible. Then imagine that you're reading an incorrectly translated bible. Then imagine attributing things to Jesus that weren't for him. For example in Daniel that anointed one is King Cyrus of Persia, he is called by name in Ezra and Isaiah. Nowhere in the bible does it say anything about Roman oppression ending after the Messiah comes. Here is the question I have. Gabriel told Mary and Joseph who Jesus was, why did Mary think he was crazy for making his claims? Why would she not tell people that the Messiah was born? I do believe the Messiah will come to rebuild Jerusalem, rebuild the temple, and resume animal sacrifice.

Jesus assumes human flesh in order to redeem us from the bondage of the original sin of Adam and Eve. His blood alone can save us from the wrath of His Father. Becoming a man gives Him the opportunity to show us how to reach heaven and gives us a good example of how to pray to Our Heavenly Father, in which Jesus takes to Himself all our infirmities in order to uplift our being into union with Him the way He and His Father are one. Becoming human doesn't remove His divinity as God, but acting like a human is a way to show us how to become a child of God.
