180 degree headers on 392c.i. SB2 with FITech GO EFI

Second start up with FITech GO EFI 8 1200HP system. Got the Electromotive HPX ignition system issues resolved, no issues with the Electromotive system, turned out to be a lack of cranking rpm solved with a better starter and battery. Now the FITech GO EFI is able to do it's thing and start learning. Throttle response is far better than any carburetor had been on this 392c.i. SBC with SB2 heads.

Open lapping event at Nelson Ledges Road Course. I find myself on track with a Ferrari 430 Challenge Stradale and chase him down to force the point by in my my 3800 V6 powered FC detuned to a mere 186rwhp to meet NASA's PTD dyno class requirements.

Beautiful sounding 180s. Did you cross under the pan or cross over the through cowl? Really curious how you routed them. It sounds like big short companion primary pairs but that is extremely difficult to wrap around the block.
Thanks. They cross under the torque tube just behind the bellhousing. The transmission is rear mounted in C5s which allowed me to make the cross over point at just a tick over optimal primary length.
Well I congratulate you on this I want to label this as GOLD STANDARD of what I want to hear from a Vette. I keep returning back to listen to this one.

Much like any other C5 with headers. The difference is underneath whiten the collectors.

He did it on a Vette. Which isnt exactly know for ample engine room.

Sorry, the CTS V coupe's transmission position would not allow the clearance for headers such as these. The transmission is in the rear of the C5 which leaves room for the 180 degree crossover just behind the bellhousing where you typically find a transmission.

Sounds like what a real V8 should sound like with a flat plane. The Chargers and Challengers and every other V8 are the annoying Hondas of this generation with their awful noise...

Hey mate I have a set of 180s as well Im just curious how you kept the stock O2 sensors? I had to turn mine off as they kept fighting each other
You can change the O2 sensor cylinder assignment in HPTuners. I can't remember where right off hand but there is an option to do so.
