Thanks so much David,that made my day.😀 Probably more Merlin really, my wee PC isn't up to editing 4K anymore.Only have 8GB of RAM and it's pretty clogged up with cached crap. Not much of a computer nerd , been trying a couple of things to increase performance but it's still very laggy. I think I will have to look into getting a custom hard drive with plenty of poke . Very frustrating as I have just bought a Pocket 3 and an Action 2 and converted my GoPro to full spectrum. Ah.... I'll see how it goes. Thanks again for the great feedback bud.👍🍀

How did you convert the GoPro to full spectrum?...can you direct me to a website that shows how to do that. I have a GoPro 9 that I wouldn't mind trying that with

@@david_v2.1 No worries David, I bought a full spectrum lens from a UK company called Infraready about 6 months ago, at that time it was pre order only and it took 3-4 weeks to arrive. Check out their website for details. The lens seems to give a good 4K quality FS image in my limited tests , but I found it a bit of a faf fitting it as the lens is hard to grip being so small . Still ,got there in the end after a few trys . The FS video in sunlight is pretty trippy ,😵😵. And you can get some creative photos as well. I bought a wee infrared light with a hot shoe fitting which works pretty well indoors for night vision. Not so good out doors though , some sort of IR or FS torch would be needed as well. Let me know if you get sorted and I`ll give you a tip for fitting it. 👍

Had a look at the website...they have cameras already converted to full spectrum for not a bad price. That appeals to me more than ripping apart a camera that could be used as backup or dashboard cam. Thanks for the advice! Looking forward to seeing videos shot with the new cameras!

@@TheCuriousCelt You're so welcome! I've felt a pull to these stones since they appeared in a Smithsonian channel documentary. The near-miss comet dust theory on big changes in culture makes So.Much.Sense. And especially further away from the equator, the sun would definitely have "moods" or "personalities" as perceived by changing qualities to the light and heat. A freakish event in the sky would logically be a new god/dess or other Gargantuan player in the sky that you want to placate. It all makes sense in my psyche.

Hello, thanks for your input. Archaeological evidence from Carrowmore shows that the first Neolithic people to settle in what is now Sligo, likely arrived from what is now France. I was assuming that the Neolithic builder's at Carrowkeel were directly connected to the Carrowmore settlers. Is that a typo on your big number? 33K or 330K? Thanks... I moved to rural Co.Antrim about 25 years ago from Belfast. I had to modify my accent a little to be understood by the locals. 😆🍀 I love the variety of different accents we have on the island.

I'm from Belfast originally myself & yes we have a fine variety of accents..it took a while for the northern accent to be knocked out of me

Yeah David, that's a great holiday for sure. Not familiar with the Viking one, had to look it up. Really interesting site, boat burials are amazing. Very respectful. I have been Island a couple of times for TT, but there is so much fun to be had to have time for much sightseeing. It's a lovely place right enough, wouldn't mind exploring sometime. Callanish is so close and yet so far for me at the moment. Too costly unfortunately. I made the video without leaving the house... 🤫

Thanks David , that means a lot. It`s a bit outside the box for sure , but inspiration is a funny thing . I had thought of making it look like it was shot from a helicopter an adding copter sound effects , but it was to complicated ,and kinda reminded me of an 80`s Vietnam war movie.😆 I am working on a new animation but as you say , it`s dead slow and finicky . Still, there is no rush , so I will keep tinkering til I get it. Once I get a creative idea I have to make it happen to be able to let go of it. 👍🍀

I edited a drone video last week with some homemade music on it which includes some sounds not unlike a helicopter🤣probably bin it now after reading this 😂
