so sorry for such a late reply, but congrats on your new job! i would just say keeping a piece of paper to keep track of patients and what you're doing/need to do is a big help. you'll get into a routine soon. how's it going so far?

You’re not late at all I just finished orientation. I start training this Monday I’ll be in Memory Care. Thank you for the advice I will definitely keep paper on me to jot things down.

I agree with you in some ways, in my opinion i believe that just because you’re poor doesn’t mean you shouldn’t have kids, but i know that there are people who work full time jobs and still aren’t able to pay all of their bills, so i think it should be for people like that. Or if you’re in between jobs because of being layed off or something. I know i wouldn’t want to have kids until i was at least a little financially stable, but it doesn’t always work out like that. I understand what you mean totally, i just know everyone’s situation is different.

@@band1tbunny I had my first kid as a teenager and second at 21..I was not financially prepared. Went without a lot, shopped at thrift shops, and discount grocers, and had WIC. At 30, after finishing college I had my third. Still don’t have things financially perfect but we’re making it. Every situation is different, I agree. I think it’s about taking ownership of your choices and if life throws you a curve ball by all means you deserve assistance, temporarily. (New sub, thanks for sharing)

My great great great aunt and her mother (my 4x grandmother) were both wives of Joseph Smith. For every ‘healthy’ poly relationship (if there is such a thing) there’s twenty or more where abuse is happening in some form or the other. Most of these girls are brain washed. It’s not like they grew up in a normal family and just chose this. Let’s be blunt... these are cultists. It’s not just ‘a religion.’ These are women who are told they’ll burn in hell if they don’t live polygamy.

i agree they definitely look like they are mentally exhausted. but i’ve noticed most documentaries i’ve seen where people live this way, or in cults, look that way. (the women)

oh wow i didn’t know that. in gabs’ video she mentioned that he stopped it for her as well. she made it over 6 hours. seems as though he stops them before people can actually finish to keep the “no one has even survived” schtick. he’s terrible.

Lala Collins congratulations! 🎉 what i did was at the end of my program before i took my state test i started applying for cna jobs. all i did was tell them i will be taking my state test soon. and usually what they will say is once you pass, come back and give me your results/certification. but you can definitely start applying while you’re waiting to take your exams!

For my orientation you do not have to. Again, like a lot of people have been saying, it ALL depends on where you are employed. I will be wearing business-casual clothing to my first two days of orientation, and only after orientation will I have to start wearing my scrubs. Every place is different. Hope this helps!

He got out around 2007. Update... Green died of Covid a few months ago.
