Not a stupid question! There's two ways to have cards added to your fortune pile. You can add some cards like Rule New Orleans and Friends on the Other Side directly into your fortune pile. The other way cards can be added to your fortune pile is by opponents playing fate cards on you, such as Almost There, Louis, Juju, the Evening Star, and Charlotte.

@@gerbilsgamez624 nope! The discard pile works as normal. Things only go into your fortune pile if it explicitly says so on the card. And no problem! I hope you have fun!

I know, I'm sorry! I would love to do the last two expansions and maybe a few more games that I love. I've also thought about doing refresh videos for when you go to pick up a game you haven't played in a while and you don't need a full tutorial, just a quick recap. The issue is I have an 8 month old now so my free time has completely evaporated 💀 hopefully I'll be able to get back to these soon!

Nope! The curse stays in play. The curse is attached to the location, not to the ally. The only way a curse gets discarded is if the requirements written on the card are met.

You can move Shadow Man with Dr. Facilier if Dr. Facilier starts his turn at the Shadow Man's location. You can also move Shadow Man as you would any other ally to an adjacent location using the Move an Ally/Item action; it does not have to be corresponding to where Dr. Facilier moves next. You can do both of these on the same turn if you choose. I hope that answers your question! If not, let me know and I'll try to clarify!

You can play green fire to any location, even if a hero is already located there. The existing hero or heroes are not affected; it only prevents additional heroes from being played there.

Hi there! Lady Tremaine's Cane is an item card, not an effect card. So once you play it to your realm, you don't have to discard it to use it. However, you don't get to automatically use it's power when it's played. You have to play it, and then activate it. But you can activate it as many times as you want and it will still be in your realm. I hope that clears up your question! If it doesn't, please let me know, and I'd be happy to try to re-explain!

You'll first have to move Maleficent to a location that allows her to play a card in order to use the raven. Then you can use their ability on any future turn.

Yes, the magic lamp can be moved freely regardless of Genie's status or location.

The item would return to where Abu was defeated 👍 that way you don't need to keep track of where heroes used to be and stuff like that.

Yes! Any card that gets activated to use their ability can be activated multiple times and does not need to be discarded after use. 👍

On the same turn, you can do every action at your new location once. And when you use the move an item or ally action, you can move an item or ally at any location to a location that is adjacent to that card. Hope that helps! If you need more clarification, please let me know!

Excellent question! You are able to move heroes with binding contracts when Ariel is in play. If you weren't able to move heroes with binding contracts, you would never be able to defeat Ariel! There is actually a reprint of Ariel's card that specifies that Ursula can't use the move an item or ally action, so if you have that card, you'll use her accordingly, but in this case, think of her as blocking that specific action, but only for items, not allies. I hope that makes sense! Let me know if it doesn't and I'll try re-explaining.

Yeah, it can definitely be a headache. But she does have cards in her deck that remove heroes from her realm, and this way you don't have to dig through useless allies to get the cards you need.

Why do Lucifer card have powers at the bottom of the card? What‘s for? she doesn’t have vanquish action.

And do you discard spinning wheel once it is used? Or can it be used over and over again in a location and being moved around withing being discarded.

@@charlieteng2257 Great questions! Spinning Wheel is an item, so you can move it around and use it over and over again without needing to discard it! Dragon Form can be used to defeat a hero at any location in your realm, so you do not have to be at that heroes location to use it.
