Hullo friends! Machine God, a brand new Deus Ex campaign story mode, serving as a sequel to Helios's Ending from the original Deus Ex! Aaaaaaaaand for letting me be kind of his own beta-tester of sorts, as I've given quite a lot of feedback recently, including the story of the mod! Soooo, shall we say, I guess I have a personal stake in this mod? :D First time ever actually. It's sure a nice feeling. You can all join the discord of the mod, newest updates, screens, and concept images to be found there. As for the mod itself - it goes quite up and above what you'd expect from a story mod to Deus Ex, it has enhanced UI with a different chat box for dialogs, completely different stylistics of all the characters in the game to cel-shaded ones. It is pretty advanced, gotta say! And I do kind of know the direction where this mod's story will be taken later, aaaaaand... it's quite something, definitely lots of I'd say lore-friendly allusions and connections to most of Deus Ex games, not just the original 2000 one! I don't want a remaster. I want to be able to enjoy this JUST like I did when I first played it. Having a remaster around kinda ruins it for me. maybe not for you but for me. If you are planning on commenting, remember, my opinion is not yours.

This was my first Tom Clancy game as a child, one of a handful of games I'd rush home from school to play on the old Windows 98. Glad I've been able to retain my CD copy, the intro perfectly sums up the game world and the first mission gets you started in it. A golden classic.

Bruh, take the GEP gun. There's a crossbow on like the second enemy and a sniper rifle a little further in. You don't find a GEP gun until the dang airport!

Hullo friends! Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Essentials, by far the weirdest and the worst entry in the series, exclusively for the PSP! With no second analog for camera controls because it's PSP! But thx to hacks by modders, it is now possible to control camera via second analogue on a gamepad! And recently it's been hacked to run at 60 fps! Yeah, alright, that's enough. xD So, this might be the definitive longplay of this game, as it includes everything that matters, looks very well visually, now also runs silky smooth, and with a showcase of the second analogue during gameplay, and it's actually... much, MUCH better experience than on the original hardware. Though, it wasn't all that was bad with this game. The levels are also much simplified compared to the original games, visuals are cut down heavily, the new missions are meh/weak, the old wants were remade in a not-so-good fashion. But still... a good stealth game, and very playable now! I wish PSP released with the second analogue, my god that might have been the biggest blunder in the history of gaming, PSP could have swept the entire market if it did have the second analogue and many, many more games due to it - it's just a terrible limitation of what the hardware can do! I rated this game as 6,5/10, the lowest rated Splinter Cell game ever, and that's AFTER the much-needed hacks here! Yeah, it was not great, same as Double Agent (except for OG Xbox version which was very good). And then the whole series went to shite. Ehhhh. Anyway! Could have used the grey voices from Invisible War for Blue, that would have been super cool. I've always wondered why its so difficult for Blue to simply see he's inverting his sentence structure. Any human can understand a speak Yoda-speak after about 20 seconds, so the reverse should apply.

It's a shame you couldn't get Spanish accented voices for the Argentinians. EDIT: You could have used Jamie and Miguel.

Something about the CIA employee's voice makes me laugh though. Sounds too excited, makes me think of the "That's alotta nuts!" guy from Kung Pow: Enter the Fist.

I don't Zodiac counts a "total conversion" mod. That would be like what Desert Combat was to Battlefield 1942, or Counterstrike was to Unreal Tournament.

Yknow something…after watching this longplay…i rather enjoyed what this game had tried to do :) It wasn’t Deus ex 1 level good…but at least this game didn’t have one character going “lol just trust me, i know best” all whilst trying to have the same philosophical quotes and mental bombs that deus ex 1 got right…it just tried to be it’s own thing, and that’s…Yknow what that’s perfect…

Omg, this brings back memories! I played this years ago, and I couldn't even get past the area after the 16:50 cutscene. The guards kept spotting me, even with a walkthrough. I applaud anyone who has the patience to complete this game and deal with its controls. And thank you for posting this video so that I can receive the closure of knowing what the game's ending was.
