0:03 - not necessarily; there was also Filmation....
'67 new adventures the energy drain guy was great. superman did a kirk and figured out he could not handle all the super powers from a drian.
This my favourite cartoon
Fun show back in the day
Filmations Superman cartoon was awesome
Saturday morning cartoons now that was a fun childhood
why is the video so messed up?
The 1968 Batman cartoon is much better than the 1977 cartoon. It's no BTSA, but it's historically important. It's of it's time of course, but it's surprisingly entertaining. It's so much better than the 1977 cartoon. Even Adam West could not make up for Bat-Mite and new/silly villains.
Hate the name Superfriends justice league so much better!
bob kane had nothing to do because he had very little to do with the character in the first place and they couldnt have a dark batman on saturday mornings by the 70s, thanks to rules put in place because of parents groups complaining about the level of violence in kid's programming
Honestly this was one of the best seasons of Super Friends right next to the Challenge of the Super Friends, and it’s incidental that it was the closest to the comics. Adam West as Batman, seeing more every day lives of the heroes, Cyborg being such a important figure and a nice bridge from New Teen Titans to Justice League and honestly a mix of cool/sci-fi to the down to earth Everyman (with Ernie Hudson being the first person to bring Cyborg to life), the Fourth World elements, seeing things like the Justice League satellite and the new Hall of Justice, the Garcia-Lopez designs, Firestorm, the origin of Batman, etc. This was a fantastic season from top to bottom (if it had the Legion of Doom fighting the Super Friends/Justice League, it would be perfect).
Niiice
Same as me! 👍🦸

I have the DVD set of this interpretation of Batman and when it was on circulation on CBS I did not pick up on Adam West being the voice of Batman then again since he was TVs original Batman it was fitting and you can pick up on some camp such as referring to Catwoman as “ you felonious feline” speaking of whom the Catwoman of the 68-69 cartoon and this one from 1977 are very different from one another. Still great to see this on DVD and the 68 version
Muahahaahaha Huh? He haha LAMP THWACK! AGH! KYAA! BOING BOING! LEAGUE OF SUPER EVIL BABA DO DA DWEEE VOLTAR! BADO DO DA DWEE DOKTOR FROGG! AHG! PHOO! CHATTER SHIVER! RED MENACE! HEHEHEHEHE (plat plat plat clap) BADA DO DA DEE! DOOMA GeEed0n Bo! BOM! BOO! SCREE! LEAGUE OF SUPER EVIL! POOOOWW! (Whoosh)
I never knew the parents were dumb enough to go down a dark alley at night.
I really love this series. The only thing I was puzzled about was Catwoman. The design was so different than the comic version. I feel the color seems too bright. Batmite was actually improved in my opinion. I would use that version for the official DC universe it's tons better in every respect.much more entertaining.
Hamil is awful as voice of Joker.
I remember watching this as a little boy I loved it and I still love my super heroes today
Thought it was cool that Adam West and b u r t Ward did The Voice
Thought it was cool Steak- West
got Adam West
Switch Bat-Mite and Zardo with Man-Bat and Ra's Al Ghul and that's really the only difference between this cartoon and 70's Batman comics...there's a long stretch where the main Batman writer was David Vern Reed, from 1975-1978, and they had the same tone as this Filmation cartoon.
Thank you for uploading this. Very interesting!
If it wasn't for super powers, he wouldn't have been in the Justice League in The New 52
2022 and dns5000 is still good
Bat-mite seems like the precursor for Orko.
I agree
1983 when that cartoon brought in Firestorm!

Love these types of special features. Noticed they didn't mentioned Wonder Woman's symbol change from the eagle to =w= first time in animation. Wish Shannon could have continued her voice or they could have had Lynda Carter voice Wonder Woman.
DC needs to do an animated movie utilizing the style of Garcia-Lopez
El Dorado was ridiculously OP.
Some of the episodes can be watched for free on Tubi.
why did they flip the colors on the Robin logo?
Remember Adam west was the voice of Batman in the new adventures of Batman in 1977,
"The Fear" is one of the greatest Batman tales of all-time!
What I don't really get is why they didn't just use Black Lightning instead of Black Vulcan. Was Black Lightning off-limits for some reason?
Yeah, Tony Isabella did not want them to use him.
It's wrong to say that the Batman of the live-action TV show was the Batman "of the time." Batman had been a "creature of the night" since the late 60's by the time the Super Powers show came around. And actually, though Adam West did the voice--and did it brilliantly--the version we saw in the show really was closer to the comic-book version than he was to the 60's TV show. We saw how focused, intense and driven he was time and again in Super Powers and we even got, for the first time, his tragic origin story in the all-time classic "The Fear."
lmfao love it
this was more like the pre cursor to the 90s Batman series
Wow... Burt Ward is just the worst here. I've heard him voice act in recent stuff and he's great. Maybe it's because this was his first gig doing something like this?
The Super Friends had Wonder Woman and Jayna, an appearance by Rima and a couple by Hawkgirl but females were very much lacking. They could have added Black Canary in the Super Powers reboot.
Fawcett comics Had Shazam the Original Capt Marvel
On CBS it was Adam West and Burt Ward
Olene soul was Batman on ABCs Superfriends
No Riddler Episodes
On Abc casey kaseum as Robin Can't reminder who was Batman his voice was in the towering inferno movie
Olan Soule.
