Interesting perspective. I think if you go back, you need to try the best two hikes: Fairyland and Peekaboo. Those hikes are phenomenal! Peekaboo has a similar switchback section to Wall Street. Also, both trails are uncrowded. 💪

The island foxes were amazing to see. Glad I was able to video them when I had the chance

Haven’t been to this region and the waterfalls look nice, but speaking from personal experience kayaking is indeed very fun and hard😂👍🏻 It’s a family tradition to go kayaking/canoeing along this river in VA and the first time I steered one, the current carried me to this tree branch and I held on for dear life trying to keep up with everyone. But it’s gotten better as far as the steering over the years although I still get stuck on the rocky areas. If you try it again, give your arms a break by allowing the current to carry you on the water as much as possible before paddling again

Zion is absolutely beautiful. I live in Minnesota yet still haven't visited Voyageurs or the boundary waters... hoping to go there soon though!

The Canadian side is better. More to do, better views of all the falls, better photos. You should have gone to Journey Behind the Falls on the Canada side. It has a tunnel system and gets you right up to the falls at the bottom of the Horseshoe Falls, it's about $25 Ca or $19 US.

when you come back to the smokies def check out all our Back Country campsites. u can book a site online and then hike to it and camp. some are just for one family and others have room for other campers aswell. u can trek however long u wish to walk then hunker down. its a lot of fun!

Nice to see the Blue Ridge Mountains from this part of the U.S. Great Smoky Mountains is definitely on my list of places to visit since I saw a news special on this National Park one time and there’s a part of the year where you can see thousands of fireflies in pitch black darkness. Bucket List item for sure. Hiking looks fun and tough and y’all are super lucky when it comes to seeing bears in the wild as well🐻🐻🐻🐻

Can older people mid 60's enjoy this place? We can't walk nor hike very far.

Maybe it is just me but pushing myself as hard as it sounds for hours just to get to the top look around for a few then come back down does not seem worth it.

Could you please do a video that considers alternate national parks for states that have substandard National Parks like Missouri, Indiana, and Arkansas?

One place in Iowa you should look into is Maquoketa Caves State Park. It is a great park, draws people from around the country, and would be a small but beautiful national park!

If you go to Watkins Glen, definitely check out the nearby Corning Museum of Glass. It's an entire museum dedicated to glasswork. Although it's primarily an art museum, its owner, Corning Glass, is an absolute giant in the industry - they invented both Pyrex and fiber optics.

Great video! Sorry if I missed it but when did you go? I heard you reference winter a few times but I didn't catch exactly what month it was. I'm planning a trip there this December and I'm pretty psyched about it! I hope I get to see some of those foxes!

It was better as a National Lakeshore. It was still protected and available to the public. National Park status basically gave them permission to institute parking fees in order to generate greater income.

Daddy Foss made me laugh. Very fitting! My favorites in Iceland are probably Selfoss (one of the sidekicks of Daddy Foss that you've mentioned), Fagrifoss and Hraunfossar.

I like both sides but lean toward America. Parking hard without paying a lot and overcrowded when I went.

I was on the US side as a child. Another awesome video. You do such a great job with these.
