Da Raiders used to do spring training at the Colluseum. When they would do two-a-days (lift in the morning, football in the afternoon), you could get into the Colluseum for a DOLLAR A HEAD (PARKING was FOUR DOLLARS A CAR), so if you were a kid you could get on the AC transit bus for about .60 to get there. Watching the Raiders ATACK the weight pile, in the morning. The A's..... everybody HATED Charlie-O, the baseball games were always about half empty for most of seasons. The greatest part was that NO ONE would PAY field level tickets at home. By the fourth inning, the ushers would go away. There might be 13,000 people in the whole stadium, but by the fifth inning stretch, all of us would on the bottom!

My dad told me when they where LA raiders, even if they lost, it was usually a close lose and some how someone on the other winning team would end up being way to injured to continue the game. Idk LA makes up rumors so idk if that's true but then I found out the raiders in general were known for being mean, aggressive, and martyrs just to win. They lowkey look like they swang with their forearms when tackling someone with a ball on the neck or face like they were built to clothesline football helmets in these clips

Julian Goodman I believe was the president of NBC at the time and he was the one that told all of the execs that Heidi was going to be shown because they had advertised it for weeks and he didn't want them to look stupid.
