Chevy Colorado Pulls Car Hauler Up Mountain. #overland #chevy #offroad #diesel

I rented a car hauler and dragged it up a mountain. I tested my fully built Chevy Colorado and wanted to test its capabilities overlanding style. Driving it off-road has been a lot of fun, but the truck needed to be tested a little harder. Not only did the truck perform well, but so did the trailer. This was a fun off-roading experience. I hope to make other fun videos in the future like this. ...

Nice truck bro
This is the perfect Colorado
All I saw was a blur.
Amazing build. Would love to do something like this to my canyon dmax
Where did you get those mirrors?
What mirrors are on it? Wheels and tires? Lift?
Put some moisturizer on your hands my friend
So i want a Canyon with a diesel, have my eyes on a couple. And this just 100% sold me on it! Thank you, I've been on the fence for like a year because i wasn't sure how it would do
I just bought a 2022 Colorado Duramax what exhaust did you install it sounds great
Hey there, which light did you pick for the mirrors, spot or flood? Why did you choose what you did? Thanks.
Hey there, great job! You left out of the video how you mounted the new projector to the old housing, do you have that footage or could you explain it? Thanks.
I had a five 5️⃣ manual transmission I believe five cylinder Colorado was a good truck
I'm a Kershaw fan I found a Benchmade laying in the middle of the road one day used it for work was not impressed
First and how much did it cost you. From buying the truck to modifications.
@@dimademochkin3028 I have a cost breakdown video on my page. 👌🏻
Nice lift, engine sounds ready for anything.
Its all fun and games until the bed smashes into the cab. Lol
What year is your Colorado
2021
I sure wish the ZR2 came long bed + crew cab! I'm gonna have to make peace with a short bed, because the DSSVs and crew cab are a must for me. Maybe I can find a mattress that allows me to lay diagonally in the bed when camping. 😂
@@davidsteinhour5562 yeah I’ve seen someone extent their frame to make it a long box zr2, but what a nightmare lol. Just get a off-road camp trailer or something 🤙🏻 scout makes midsize camper “yoho” or something
Hey brotha how tall are you I’m comparing the height of the truck with you… and how tall is your truck from the ground to the roof? Thanks for the content and hope you make more on the truck haven’t seen much lately
@@michaellopez9837 I’m 5’11” my friend has a lifted f150 and it’s same height or slightly taller. The 37’s make it look not as tall because they fill the wheel wells. The ground clearance is have to measure, but it’s pretty substantial
Just had a baby, so I’ve been really busy. I’m in the thick of it lol
Pricey 👈🏻
🌹
The black blade looks even better on these 🤌 very nice knife
How's the mpg with the 37's
I’ve got a Canadian imported 16 canyon diesel. It’s shelled out, so no regen. 34mpg on trips averaging 45-95mph. Just cannot beat it.
Brother, I would advise you to get a traditional leuku from martin, they are superior to any leuku I have had in my lifetime.
lol no
martiini uses shitty steel ran soft. if you want a leuku on a budget get one from ahti or woodsknife they use laurin metalli blades of 80crv2 heat treated to 60 hrc
Like to send a pick of my 2019
My Benchmade knife was free too! Don't forget to learn how to properly sharpen!
🤣why
Bought 2019 zr2 with 37 tires
That was slow at
Beautiful rig my man, I’m considering getting a chrome set of these for my Canyon Denali Duramax, just had a quick question - how do you feel navigating around with them around the city? One of the main reasons I got one of the twins is because they’re good daily drivers and park even in the city, but I’m wondering if I’ll need to make sure I’m constantly folding them in parking lots. Our trucks aren’t as wide as the full size or heavy duty trucks, but just wanted to see what your thoughts were.
This is what enthusiast fb groups, subreddits & sponsored TH-cam videos do to someone’s mind. Fuckin 200+ dollar pocket knives, lol
No bison in this video, but I did see a very customized Colorado. (Watched your build video)
don't like the auto
Nothing wrong with your video, but you could just get a cold steel srk in 3v for $10 less, with a much better kray x (think kydex but better). Benchmade just slaps on a name fee for mid ass knives.
The CS is made is Tawain you fool. Benchmade literally made the cheapest American made 3v knife and you still complain.
What was the issue ?? Experiencing the same thing right now
They couldn’t figure it out. They had the truck for over 50 days at the dealership so with the truck having two major problems and more than 38 days at the dealership per Idaho law they were required to take it back per lemon law.
Maybe the belt tensioner?
Sheeshhh 😅
GREAT truck GREAT build I love this truck!!! I have a 2016 Z71 longbox 4x4 and was wondering if I can also do the AEV highmark fenders?
Thank you. I’m not sure. Mines a long box. But I’m not sure if the bed is the same. You might call AEV.
How is your ownership experience with the duramax diesel and the whole truck itself. Is reliable? How cost of ownership?
With the Diesel it’s been really good. Gets good mileage on 37 inch tires, I can parallel park anywhere, parking in general easier than a full-size. The long box is nice for hauling bikes and being a family rig. Overall, it’s been a really great experience for me.
@@nathanielegbert thank you! I am considering colorado with duramax over the taco
Your truck is beautiful thanks for the review looking to buy the diesel either Colorado or Canyon with the longer bed your teuck is the exact same truck I want minus the big lift and tires I dont need all that maybe just 33x12.5 good for me I appreciate the video.
Try a Small Sebenza 31 or even the large. Even better. In fact. The best.
The 4 or the 6
There's a gasoline V6 option and a 4 cyl Duramax diesel option
Damn, if only it was a spiderco
Sounds wicked. Do you have the factory down pipe in the truck?
Yeah. The intake helped a lot with engine sounds.
What a beauty of a truck. I’ve never seen a customized Colorado before and yours is definitely an eye catcher. I appreciate what you were able to make of this beast
Thanks a lot. I really appreciate it. It’s been a fun build and a nice truck to drive. I’m very happy.
I have a 1028 Colorado. I only have a K&N cold air intake and a custom Corsa exhaust. About $1600 in it. I want to do more to it but don't know where to go. I was thinking about putting a supercharger on it. Maybe a lift. The factory ride height doesn't bother me. My wife is short. I don't drive too much anyway because I'm a disabled Veteran. I stay home most days because people are weird. I like the color. I was gonna get a truck with the same color but there was one with lower milage. Those shocks...nice. Super nice. Good build.
The you for your comment. I hope you find your perfect truck and start in on a nice build. 🙏🏻
Very nice I'll work at a huge commercial tire company I finally did it 37 1250 r17s I don't have the highmark fender flares I've got the 4-in PDS a 1.5 level from truxxs And at 1.5 body lift now I'm going to have to re-gear 🤣
You fit 37’s without flares? Dang man. Nice job.
How is your max payload with the trailer, the car, beefier tires, truck cap and front bumper?
Truck did awesome. The only thing that causes issues is the long travel. I have no sway bar. So with high speed towing (heavy weight) you get some tail wagging the dog situations. Only at higher speeds though.
😁😂😂
