I have the exact same rifle just in 22 lr. I've tried to get rings so I can mount a scope on it. The rings I have are Ruger rings , they have to be as the rail has slots not grooves like most rails. When I used the rings I have the bolt handle would open but it cannot be slid back because the scope tube and lens are in the way. Does anyone know the height rings I need. Is this my problem or is it the scope. I found rings on line but don't want to purchase another set that won't work . Any help will be appreciated Thanks .

Barely used 464 and it won't load a round. I would say less than 20 rounds fired. It's a POS. not the only issue I've had with mossberg. OU 12 GA came to me like it was built in a high school shop.

Yes it came with a wrench.They were tapped under the lik of the carton it came in. I bet people threw it away because they used brown tape so it blended in with the packageing cardboard. 😅

Yes it came with a wrench. It was tapped on the bottom of the lid with brown paper tape. Im figuring it was so camouflaged that a lot got thrown away with the packageing.😢

Lovely gun Micheal , the 99’s were certainly ahead of their time.. You did fine great shooting with those handloads as well , what more could you want a hunting rifle to do.. About your narration however , you need to work on not using the pauses”ah” so much , it was distracting and took away from the overall video imho that is..

I find it almost impossible to find this Marlin 1894 chambered in 357. Luckily, you have the chance to have one.

May be more comfortable to duct tape the rudimentary padding to the grip for stability. Then 3M sports tape to make it less slick.

Ya, get the 22 magnum also, suggest the mag with the flag model. Rossi no longer lists the Rio Bravo magnum lever on their website, may not be around much longer. You may not believe me, the mag is even smoother than the lr model, test for yourself.

People are often amazed when I hit a 5 gallon bucket at 100 yards with a Smith and Wesson J frame... Until they try it themselves. Unless they are experienced they rarely hit it but they come really really close. The only Charter arms I have shot were the Bulldog and the much much smaller version in 38 spl in ... my.... opinion they do not shoot as accurately as the Smiths.

So you took the stock it came with, which was a fine stock with a full aluminum chassis built-in too it, amd replaced it with garbage?
