    NOW IS THE TIME, instead of big tech multi-billionaires paying more taxes. The government should coordinate with Big tech and develop algorithms to create a universal base income (UBI) based on the use of OUR DATA (the world's greatest commodity) and establish a fair valuation that would compensate us the consumers with rewards, credits, tokens or plain dollars for the use of it by big tech permanent development of marketing strategies that so far only generate billions of dollars for big tech monopolies. Currently, we get nothing in return but sophisticated scientific personalized advertising inciting us to keep consuming only to enlarge the already obscene multi-billion big tech pockets without any financial benefit for the other 98% owners of our data.

      Most people either do not understand the power of compound interest, or are just impatient. For the average Joe, however. I think it is just best to invest in the S&P 500, and just wait, which is reliable, albeit extremely long-lots of years. Or just use a professional analyst and speed up wealth creation. Most people underestimate the power of the latter

    • @WeweAke
      @WeweAke 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You're absolutely right about the power of compound interest and the long-term potential of investing in index funds like the S&P 500. For many, passive investing in broadly diversified funds can be a reliable strategy over time.

      Employing a professional financial analyst or advisor can certainly add value by offering tailored advice, portfolio diversification, risk management, and timely insights. Their expertise can potentially speed up wealth creation and navigate market complexities, but it's important to choose someone reputable and consider their fees, as they can impact your overall returns.

      BRICS seeks to create a new currency, considering gold's historical role as a store of value and medium of exchange. However, the functionality and acceptance of a gold-backed currency in the current global financial system are uncertain. Creating a new currency requires careful consideration of economic, political, and logistical factors.

    Anyone who complacently accepts universal generative AI censorship or “degenerate art” labels or burning books before they can even be written should watch this video. Thinking differently is not a crime, it’s not unsafe. It’s how the future is built. One weird, fabulous idea at a time. The seeds of all inspiration are in the different and weird, the seeds of future meaning in the new way of seeing old things. The new mindsets which are required to solve all our old problems and habits of mind internal and external. Censorship of anything at any time for responsible adults is ALWAYS wrong. If you think it is not wrong, then you are simply projecting your own issues onto others-your own yearning for control so that YOU do not have to change or grow, so that YOU do not have to face your own demons. The problem is you. Don’t make your own shortcomings universal. The world needs dreamers and heroes too. To destroy a nation is simple. Simply destroy its dreamers, put fear in hearts instead of flow. This is what the dark cloud of censorship of my own ideas in my own home offers. To be forced ironically to wallow in lower interpretations of everything and fearful self-judgment instead of seeing beauty in every chance event and infinity in every divine grain of sand. ❤️‍🔥👁️❤️‍🔥

    @jashannon - Thanks for the great contextualization of this video's historical importance and detailing so well the differences between MacOS and Windows, then and now. For today's everyday Joe, I would still recommend a Mac... Windows is only missed if you are a heavy duty Excel user, otherwise... Mac's GUI, longevity and reliability will surely payoff the extra buck for an entry level (eveyday joe's) computer. However, regarding video, it is not about Marketing as a whole, but about Branding, that is what Jobs is trying to justify and convey here, why it was imperative and urgent to recognize, embrace and propagate what was the, then rusted and washed up, Brand Positioning of Apple. He/Agency managed to revitalize a dying brand without talking about any aspect of their Industry, let alone of products, they didn't even bother to include a reason-to-believe to back why only a brand like Apple could get away with comparing itself to TIME's Man of the Century, the man who single-handedly enabled the Future to unfold, Albert Einstein himself. Jobs recorded a version of the narration, but vetoed it correctly - the Ad was about Apple, not him. He was very bold in comparing Apple to Einstein, for example, but understood how Apple could hold that claim and own such a spot on people's mind, given its then already known pioneering and game-changing history. He was even bolder, however, if you look at the TV Ad's broader target audience, shareholders and prospects of any sort, and the Ad's underlying purpose, to be a Mission Statement and the long term Vision Jobs had for Apple (he had envisioned the iPad in 1983, exactly like it is now, so he wanted to tell the world with this ad that he was aiming at the stars, and knew what he was doing, and that he was good-for-it and would deliver). He was even more audacious to ask money for a brand-manifesto campaign, when considering the situation Apple was in at the time, and how antagonistic the TV Ad was to Apple's pipeline of products pre-iMac'98. But in the years to come, he showed the world why he is now revered as one of those great minds portrayed on the TV Ad, who thought differently and, by doing so, invented the future we now live in. Therefore, to sum up what this video actually conveys, is how essential it is for any brand to have a clear Positioning/Point-of-View/Vision/Proposition and stay loyal to that ideal/creed/claim/function/benefit across all forms of Brand Expression, whether in a YT Ad, a Billboard, and mainly, especially for a Computer Engineering Company like Apple, in the products and services it creates. After this TV Ad was run, Jobs delivered as promised and consistently for the following ~15 years, setting the industry standard of excellence for all end-user or regular-joe type of gadget. The day he died, Apple Inc. was the most valuable company, and Brand, on the planet... simply by following and delivering on the Brand Positioning, first reestablished by this TV Ad. Another stroke-of-genius, normally unnoticed when evaluating this campaign, was the purposeful grammatical error on the sign-off "Think Different"(ly), inspired by Bill Bernbach's "Think Small" print campaign for the Volkwagen's Beetle launch in America in the 1960s. It is too subtle and too meaningless, a detail, some may think, but they are wrong. Beyond making the slogan more memorable and brand-connected, the grammatical "error" took the weight off the imperative "Think", which would sound commanding and presumptuous for a brand on the brink of bankruptcy to ask ME to "THINK DIFFERENTLY", it would sound too literal, closer to an ordinary sale call-to-action, not a Mission Statement - To Change The World. Instead, by removing two letters, "Think Different" makes the speech, and the whole TV Ad, sound like an invitation into a club that anybody would want to join. The fact that Apple recognizes those people as well, cherishes them and tacitly promises to abide by their same ideals/creed, to always innovate and come up with things that are different, unique, unseen and useful. Think Different makes the viewer feel special and portrays Apple as a doorway into a different, more inventive and exciting world... by removing two letters, they flipped the coin, from an imperative and almost desperate "Think Differently!", and instead made you feel part, or want to be part, of a group that thought differently and changed the world, which Apple also once represented and seemed to know so well.
