Congratulations on the video! I make mods and currently I want to modify several Silent Hill 2 Remake audios to dub, however I need wwise and I need to have 2 markers called ShowSub which will always be at the beginning of the audio and HideSub when there is no more audio because without them the game does not understand when the caption appears and when to hide it. Is there any plugin/script for wwise that creates these 2 markers automatically for all my audios?
Absolutely. One way could be with a Python script. Maybe there's a turnaround to that, but I need more info of the mod and the engine. We can continue through Discord, I'm as "the_fazzo" 👍

Amazing tutorial, I did this tutorial but am trying to create a plug in instead. It all goes fine until the part where i need to execute the code and point to the new exported script i've added. How can I get that execute code script working for the specific plugin I use? Do I need a c++ Coder to figure that out?
By plugin you mean Effect instead of Source plugin?

Only used RNBO for source generation. For a plugin effect it should be the same code but adding the desired inputs so it can process the incoming audio.
No rush of course but if you do get to part 2 of the getting and setting parameters that would be sick 🙏. This vid helped a ton
First there's a pd-Wwise tutorial... Found out that Max will charge for EACH compiled patch if the project's budget is more than $100k... plus all the code belongs to Cycling 74. Maybe they change that in the future... So I went to Plug Data instead and its really good.

Hi. I wanted to use your patch so I extracted 'Virtual Sound Macro' files into max package folder as instruction says on github, but the patch wasn't opened correctly. all objects, messages, sliders are not sorted as if it is on the video. and those categorized boxes are not exist. are there any other packages or plug-in that should be installed before using your patch? I'm not using any external plug-in or package currently.
You need to set it into presentation mode. Go to the left-down corner and click on the symbol that looks like a projector (its near the padlock).

Have you been able to use nn~ in max for live? I've installed it and it runs fine in Max, but for some reason M4L will not load/locate the nn~ external, despite having the same search paths as Max. Thanks for the tutorial!

No entiendo bien la pregunta. Ya está seteado en canales distintos. Para que se mueva en el tiempo tenés que automatizar los parámetros de espacialidad en el plugin. Avisame si pudiste resolverlo

Absolutely. Look into Live settings to see where does it loads the Package manager, then put the [nn~] content there.

That's the path where I have downloaded Hise. Check where you've downloaded (remember to download the non complided software here -> github.com/christophhart/HISE/tree/develop)

installing and compile is NOT the same, just to be clear. As a beginner I have found a LOT of imprecise information on HISE tutorials. It is VERY frustrating as you start following all the steps only to find out that the information that was given was not 100% correct. Sorry for the rant but I have been trying to wrap my head around HISE for almost a month now, and I manage to figure out things with trial and error by partially following tutorial advice. It has to be said that ther are a LOT of counterintuitive things in this software.

as general advice, start with the simplest idea and then build upon it so you can get back to the safe ground when experimenting. In this particular example, start by creating a soundbank with one event that contains one sound (could be synth a or an imported wav). Only when that works, go a by further with Crankase Rev. If the error still persist (even with the simplest idea), I recommend to go in the Discord group (link in description)
Have you since resolved this Issue? I have the same problem right now. Ive done everything the same as in the video and tried to load a soundbank with a single event. I didnt do anything special and still get the same error.

You will need a program that can compile and build the package. For Win I only know Visual Studio that can handle that (afaik xcode can´t build). But if you have other one it should appear in the projucer. Check the documentation for more information
In macOS, you would go to Audio Midi Setup. Window > Show MIDI Studio. Double-click IAC Driver and make sure it is online. Unfortunately, in Wwise it will just show up as "Bus 1". So in the IAC Driver options, I added a couple more ports until it went up to Bus 3. None of the other MIDI options went up to Bus 3 so that made it easier to make sure I had the right one selected. You also have to make sure this MIDI is enabled in Reaper. Preferences > MIDI Devices > MIDI outputs to make available
