There is so much wasted black space on the screen.
so this is actually fun to play. im t6 with 3 bronze links and its def not that fun.. and i got powerleveled here or i wouldnt have the bard at all. any tips on what codex to unlock, i got the one dmg to 2 mobs same time almsot maxed, next maybe hinder or? (for Time) just in general, it still weak af and not making me wanna play it also check out item id, u probably dont need it but its a huge barding bonus oh and how are ur mobs doing so much dmg to one another?
revolution song boosts the dmg mobs deal to eachother when provoked. Bard dexxers suffer the same as all dexxers that they're underpowered until they have at least 15 links or so and only start to shine at 20+ links. I have 30 in my vids.
@@mischiefandmayhem8409 I TOOK ,my +12 bard skill, tier 6 lyric with 60 item id to ssc2 and was doing fine. not op but was much better than expected. surprised tbh. power bow, and aspect crystals make a big diff

Why 2 Alchemy, 66 Taste ID and Anatomy 92? In you opinion i could do this build with 15 links?
cuz it's not in air armor and more swing gets closer to cap. 2 alch allows refreshing potions w/o the buffs dropping.

@@mischiefandmayhem8409 I am really undecided whether to raise aspect air or Holy. Looking at your video it seems to work very well holy. I didn't expect it so much dps. You can farm alone and fast

@@mischiefandmayhem8409 thank you. been out the game for a little while. Always loved a bard. I assume you needed 100+ music to get you to this build to then drop it?
@@leemonk384 You can do it as soon as you have the codex points for self taught unlocked. You can train bard skills even while music is 0.
I envy the links you have open. Everything is better with links.

noob question but how do u set up that big SUCCESS message? i have such an issue seeing if things fail or succeed including when i tame. i'm also thinking about going tribard just so i can tame anything, or it seems like that template can. only thing is the healing part worries me since u have no bandage or spell heals.
oh, it's been so long ago I've forgotten, but there's a way to do custom overheads. I'll try to find the option again and let you know.

hey, what links are you using? 10xEBS, 10xBardReset/break and 10 damage to barded or follower damage?
follower dmg. dmg to barded doesn't do anything fror pets.
sad! so the 32% damage to barded from lyric armor is also not working :(@@mischiefandmayhem8409
Excellent show as usual. My wild guess of the template: taming + lore 120 music + disco + provo+ peace 80 vet 80 archery 80 (or peace 40 just for buff and archery+vet at 100) Lyric armor and command weapon =)
close but no veterinary. utility pets (test server pet classifications for the new tamer patch) have a trait that lets them heal a small amount of damage every hit. And then all "slime" pets like sand mucks can regenerate a larger chunk of health once every 15 seconds if they drop too low.
what aspect do u use? all lyric?
I was about to say How impressive this is but then I saw you had 30 gold links..Any build looks good at that point. What build would you suggest for someone with 6 links

Is 90 music skills the sweet spot you like, given links and aspect level? What about dropping them to 80 to get 100 Anat and 80 heal, do you see an upside in that trade off? Is 60 heal enough sustain for you? I am still crutching on chivalry almost ready to rip the bandaid lol
I don't have a sweet spot. I put as much into music as I can fit while still being able to get whatever else I want to out of the build. I have other echoes that have more healing and/or more anatomy. This build is for skinning.

The template still works, but SSC is crowded as hell and you're unlikely to find mobs up like that on live.

What effective barding are you aiming for in ssc?
I like 180 for SSC 1 / CY and 200 for SSC 2 but it's flexible
@Mischief and Mayhem thank you. What bard codex and archery codex do you primarily use. I play a bleed bard but hate how fragile he feels I like the tankyness this build has but wondering how 90 archery affects your hit chance do you whiff alot?

I don’t understand how you are able to do that dmg with archery, those monsters have high armor, have you arms lore for disarm?
No. 100 anatomy/tactics, 90 music/provo/disco/archery, 80 healing/parry. I prefer anatomy over arms lore for archery because I like to lean into finishers. Also I'm using earth weapon. The aspect procs drop NPC armor rating by 75 points (T14) for 30 seconds. Not super predictable, but it's a big help when it fires off and it hits AoE so if I proc against a group they all get debuffed like that.
@@mischiefandmayhem8409 You no longer "need" 80 healing (codex change), if you wanted a tad more barding skill for example.

How are you able to hold so much gold?! I am new to Outlands, and I can only manage to carry 12k~ with 100 STR.
strongbox customizations. They cost a pretty penny, but if you get both then you can double your gold carry.
I have a bard friend who likes to bard pontifs onto himself and stand next to people it's awesome
that doesn't work as described because provoked pontiffs won't hit anyone else at all. So they're not really "barded onto him". He's maybe just discording them and then standing near someone else.

Would you mind sharing how you build your bard codex? I feel like max pitch perfect isn't worth it anymore.
no one way. different points for different situations. on this run i did have max perfect pitch, revolution song, and SYOP, but I mix it up depending what's going on.

Hey. Loving the videos. The other one (archer) was higher end but loving the fact that this is an early character. I'm very new back to the game and am a bard/Macer/chiv. No provo but peace and disco. I've opened a few things on my Codexs but not much more. I'm curious as to the choice of tamer rather than summoner (please bear in mind I am new back to the game). Where would you see this template ending up after some game time. Also, some feedback if I may, please please upload in 1080 if you can. UO doesn't have the best of graphics and watching in 750 is painful :)

I'm confused how you hit for 300-400 dmg with bow? I seen tact over 140 with colored bow on but still... anyone able to help my noob ass?
my base dmg is 40-151. Then I get like x 1.5 from barding. and x 1.25 from provo buff. and x 1.27 from dmg to barded links. and x 1.1 from aspect ammunition.
