How to Make Your Garage Brighter - LED Lighting Comparison and Review | Best Lights Under $70

I tested four LED lighting systems for my garage to see which would provide the brightest lighting. This is an informal test, and partially done just as a comparison to see what garage lighting options are available. This is a review of the Craftsman Pressure Washer, model number CMEPW1700 with 1.2 GPM and 1700 PSI. This pressure washer comes with a foam canon, a spray gun, an abrasive nozzle, and 40' nozzle. CRAFTSMAN Cordless Brad Nail Gun Unboxing, Review, and Features!
มุมมอง 22K3 ปีที่แล้ว
In this video, I'll be unboxing the Craftsman Cordless brad nailer, and going over my own personal experience with this nail gun. This is the Craftsman V20 18-Gauge Cordless nailer, with a 2" max, fully functional off of a battery alone, and very powerful! I'll also cover some of the details about the Craftsman warranty, as this nail gun did stop working halfway into one of my projects. I have ...
I tear down large centrifugal chillers and there are some places where the large dewalt cordless impact doesnt fit. This was the only impact that fit and also had the power to break loose 15/16" bolts, many of them. I could tear the entire machine down with this one driver. Excellent tool.
Absolutely, it's crazy to see how far the tech has come. This little guy has so much power for its size. I remember years back, impact wrenches with similar specs were HUGE
I will build french cleats for my balcony garden
fantastic review man. Great job!!
I came across one of your reviews not too long ago! It was the iPad mini one! What are the odds? Haha. Thanks so much for watching!
twice as powerful as the 24v max brushless impact wrench from kobalt that needs $150 battery to even reach its advertised break away torque. I bought the kobalt and I'm returning it to buy one of these there is a deal on it for $170 for the 1/2" at home depot for black friday, the tool only is $220...
With the battery combo sales, it's truly a steal, because those combos come with multiple batteries too!
@ yeah getting the DCF921 with 5Ah battery and charger for $170 and probably the 2 combo kit with the XR impact driver and hammer drill with 2 4Ah batteries for $299 that earns you a free tool will probably get the DCS382B reciprocating saw maybe the jigsaw. Will end up with 3 tools instead of 7 for more money but it won’t be cheap Chinese junk that’s half as strong as the manufacturers brand like Lowes is with Kobalt and Chervon Flex tools. Really bummed I need $150 battery to get half the strength as any other brand except craftsman who was still stronger with a 20v.
Yeah, I agree! DeWalt bas been good to me over the years, so I'll definitely be sticking to that. I usually go for the combo that's $199, and comes with two 5 AH batteries, along with another solid XR tool of choice!
Just bought one of these kids for my dad for Christmas this year.
Fun fact: if you buy this off a mac tools truck you get a 3yr free service warranty. They don't care what happens, they'll cover it.
That's amazing to know!!
I have tried out a range of lights with similar specifications. I think any useful review should cover 3 other features: a) the actual longevity (not the rated life) , b) the value of rhe warranty (if any) and its practicality, c) verification of the brightness, and d) the power consumption (because some of the high-lumen lights cannot be used to simply replace the same number of standard 100W bulbs on an typical circuit without overloading it), and e) safety (a device that cannot operate without melting the plastic enclosure is unsafe (not to mention a device killer, especially in warm/hot ambient temperature). For example, of the latest fixtures I tried (Beyond Bright - 7000 Lumens), one of the 10 panels failed within one day, even though it was promoted as: "Lasts for 30+ Years". In this case, the rest of the specifications are irrelevant, so I will not even mention them, especially given the poor average 3.5/5.0 ratings on the Home Depot site. How the lighting looks is one factor, but it doesn't really matter if other factors disqualify the product functionality😒.
Hello, I am from the company Crave, we make phone cases and mobile electronics. Please let me know if reviewing some of our items on your channel interests you. Just clarify your email or IG for connection.
Spot on!! Thanks for this video. Mine did not come with filter attached and had to try to figure it out. Thank you for explanation!
Thanks a ton for watching!!! And that filter situation is kind of a pain, haha. Not ideal for woodworking, since the sawdust in the room will get blown around!
when you have it plugged the wall in will it charge both the battery and the portable charger at the same time? or does it charge your device first then the portable battery?
Great question! I feel like I have seen it do both. When my phone is low battery, I feel like the entire charge goes to the phone. And when the both the charger and the phone have a sufficient amount of battery, I believe it does both simultaneously. I'm gonna test this one more time and I can get back to you here. But for now, I believe a low battery phone gets priority over the charger. And once that has a higher charge, I think that's when it switches over to doing both.
Just tested this one more time to be certain and that's correct, both my phone and the charger were going up simultaneously.
The CMEW231 i literally just purchssed says that it fits hoses 1 3/4. The hoses that i have is 2 1/2. Im not sure what to do
Diluted the soap drastically, then diluted it again. The soap dispenser works fine and has foam cannon quality. Operator error! The only drawback is it doesn't hold enough product but can be made to work.
Plastic fell apart on me by the second use haha. Maybe some error on my part, but still not a great dispenser
@@ReviewsMadeSimple could've been a dud but mines works on par with a budget foam cannon. Just not enough product to do much bigger than a Ford fusion in size vehicle.
@@christopherpaige406 that's awesome to hear. I already highly recommend this product as it is, haha, so a working foam cannon is th cherry on top!
Are the fittings m22x14 or m22x15
I also bought 2 of it. 10000fusion. White and black 😅
These things are awesome! Haha. Favorite accessory for sure
Just tried mine today, put it all together, attached the garden hose, plugged it in, and while the motor went on for a second or so, it then shut off. The green light was on the plug, so apparentely everything was ok with that side of things. I just don't understand what happened, and why it wouldn't kick on again. Anyone have any ideas? I read so many good things about this, and really want it to work, but don't know how to make that happen ....
Where’s the bag?
I need to replace the filter and the filter nut that holds the filter but I can't find any info. Can you help? I also can't find replacement bags made for this unit.
I can't get the soap dispenser attached. No help here.
Mine came with drawers locked and no keys...already put it together 😢
Just curious, How Long did your 3 panel light work for???? Please update I ask, as I bought one and it lasted about 3 weeks and dropped completely out of the Fixture because....all LED lights emit lots of HEAT and it's made of plastic. the plastic melted where it touched the Edison bayonet (metal screw in part) and just fell out and scared me to death. The wires pulled loose from the bayonet and when it hit the floor, it sounded like a gun shot. Of course...NO REFUND and $35 wasted - don't buy these cheap Lights from Home Depot!
My 3-panel lights are still running strong, and this video was made a while back!! And I believe these are mostly made of steel. I have the link in the description, if you'd like to look into them.
I have two of these jigs and I like them a LOT! They are especially useful in REPAIRING furniture, and pieces where you have limited clamping space. Your video does not address the fact that you can take the jig body apart for working in tight places, one of it's BEST features.
At the 3:00 mark, if the "looks" does not matter, in other words, if you are not worried about seeing the pocket holes, it is BEST to drill from the OUTSIDE of the piece, directing the screws towards the INSIDE of the piece, which gives it even more strength as the screw is FARTHER from the edge of the wood.
Great explanation
you're supposed to put soap AND water in the foam cannon bottle. works much better
The Craftsman 1/2 Torque Wrench retails at Lowes for $60 as of June 2024, said $50 in this video. Just like Home Depot, prices are jacked up. When there is a Sale, it is not really a sale. Since 2022 or soon after COVID-19 claimed to be over, most all places have increased aka Inflation prices of an additional 20 to 30%. The Craftsman 3-piece protective lug nut kit was $25 now $29. The Rigid WD4070 Dry-Wet Vac was $79 now $99. The Rigid 1-1/4 Car Detailing Kit for Vac was $40 now $54. The Ryobi 1/2 High Torque PBLIW01 Impact Wrench was $159, then $169 in 2022, then in later 2023/early 2024 was $199, now as of June cost $219. Believe me that both Home Depot and Lowes do price gouging. I'm a veteran and get 10% off but if the item is on Sale, the military discount no longer applies. What a Scam. The plastic case for the Craftsman torque wrench is nice. If you have a clamp vice and a digital torque Calibration Tool, you can check and validate the Torque setting. Not to be used to torque items below 50 Ft-Lbs as it will be inaccurate. I use it to torque my Camry 19-inch Allow Wheel Lug Nuts (76 - 83 Ft-Lbs.) size 12m x 1.5 21mm. The long handle is really nice, has good weight, the click is felt and audible. Do not use it as a Breaking Bar even though you could, it could damage the tool or ruin the Calibration as then need to recalibrate. Use all your tools properly and the purpose they were intended for. Make them last and save $$. Warranties ... they all suck including Life Time. So many business add clauses, refuse to fix it, will not give you the time of day, runaround, or to get a RMA you pay the S&H to and from. Beware of repair rates or Restocking Fees. They are all out to make money while you the consumer get the shaft. Home Depot and Lowes have started the policy of No Refunds, but may Exchange for same item, or will tell you the product is under Warranty and send it to the Manufacturer. Neither Lowes or Home Depot wants to be held accountable for selling a faulty product. Buy at your Own Risk!
Hey, I'm pretty sure your giving out the wrong information on your video. The foam filter is for wet clean up, while the plastic filter is for dry clean up. I don't think one is to be put over the other as you are saying
I need to clean out an HVAC condensation PVC pipe with a long run (about 30 feet) with one 90 degree bend. Does it have enough CFM's to do this if I have a nice seal on the outside pipe?
I’m having a problem with dust/dirt/debris blowing out of the other hole
😭😭😭
I bought this to clean the attic of lots of sawdust after the roofers put in ridge vents. The book mentions a “band” to hold the two filters together tightly. I don’t see a band, nor do I see one in your video. I’m planning to use both filters & hope that’s ok. It’s a little loud for me, so will use my noise canceling headphones. Great video..thank you!
would this connect to a blackline foam cannon 1/4 quick connect?
Thank you for your demonstration. So far your video has been the best. I've never used one before so I was looking for a video for dummies basically. I used to watch my dad use these all the time before he passed but I was just always his helper, never doing anything on my own. I just purchased a used rabbit hutch I'm going to try to convert it over to a mini chicken coop bc I have a sick chicken that I need placed away from my flock until she's feeling better. I need to put some height into the bottom of the hutch so my little one will have enough room to stand up comfortably. After watching your video I think I'm ready to give it a try. Thank you again for going slow and being so detailed.
Is there a problem with the one I bought I bought this one but there is a burning smell coming form the blower but not sure if it’s because it’s new or I have a defective one please help me
Mine doesn’t have that smell.
Your suppose to mix soap with water or a buy a premix soap that says foam
I have the same pressure washer, however water leaks from the 20 foot water hose and the wand. Any thoughts of why it does this?
Thank you so much for your video, it’s very helpful
@reviews made simple The cannon in the description comes with tips for the wand, will they work with the craftsman wand?
You didn't show the product with the fan tip, which is the primary use of it. It seems like a small portable pressure washer for cars etc. I was wanting to get it to store it on my boat, because I already own a much larger gas powered one.
Does that foam cannon just screw on craftsman ?
The upgraded one? That one clicks in 🙂
@@ReviewsMadeSimple Can you share the name of upgraded foam cannon and where you purchased?
Amazon Has The 5 to 8 Gallon Bags they come in a 5 Pack.
What dust bags can I buy to replace the default one? The part number is no longer sold at Lowes
I'm looking for the bags too and the filter number
No ! It’s not worth 200 , I got mine in a set of power tools. It’s definitely a beginner’s model. It works well.
I bought this today because my very senior dog had a huge pee accident. I went and bought a Bissell carpet cleaner for pets, and it left my carpets a soggy mess for 3 days with no sign of drying. I put this one together properly following the instructions using the wet foam filter for wet cleanup. Dude, you would have a lot better suction if you weren't clogging the motor, and probably voiding your warranty. I used all three wands that came with it and the large floor nozzle. I put it down on the carpet and it suctioned down to the carpet as I pulled it apart. I did a small section of my carpet and I have already collected a lot of water. I tried to do this with the steam cleaner without water and only vacuuming, but it wasn't pulling any more water up. I think it is clogged! Great job Bissell building a carpet cleaner for pet cleanup that can't handle pet hair. This little machine is a powerhouse when you use it with the right filter setup. I haven't tried using it for dry clean-up messes, but I will definitely be using it for the dog hair in my house instead of my house vacuum which I don't like. I love the size and the power that it has. I have never had a vacuum that suctioned onto the carpet.
Just checked the reviews to see if any negative comments where made or if anybody identified your faults you tried tricking people into believing..SMH..You was definitely paid for this review..I tried stepping many different ways to test the strength and it held every way so it's really strong..LMAO..FIRST STEP YOU PUT ALL YA WEIGHT ON THE FRONT BALL OF YOUR FOOT WHICH HAPPENED TO BE RIGHT WHERE THE STRAIGHT PIECE OR TOP PARTS AT,NEXT YOU STEPPED ON THE JUST THE LEG PART BUT WHEN PUTTING YA WEIGHT ON IT YOU BASICALLY JUMPED SO YA WEIGHT REALLY WASN'T ON IT..SMH..(THE SHIT US HUMANS FALL FOR)!!
Think about it, my channel is way too small to get paid by a big company like this one. Everything in here's real. If it isn't working for you, you might be setting it up wrong, unfortunately. I'm more than happy to try and answer any questions to clear anything up! Kreg sent me two of these so that I can share them to random viewers. But as far as an actual payment, I was not paid.
Thanks from germany. 😊 What about shorter legs. Could it be a problem?
Great question! I can't guarantee that it will be a perfect fit, but the chair does allow you to slide its position much closer than what is shown in the video 😄
Nice review. Thanks
Would have been helpful if you mentioned whether the 1 1/4" hose can attach to common woodworking tools, or if the purported Stanley 08-2566BP HEPA filter is in fact the compatible HEPA filter, as Craftsman does not make one for this model.
Pretty powerful vac but the cover is poorly attached with 2 plastic snaps. When carrying it by the top handle they frequently unlock and the canister just spills everything you have spent an hour cleaning up. If that happens while moving the vacuum everything will just blow out the back port. This happens a lot with this unit but never with my Rigid.
Can you attach guide bushings?
Defective tools happen with any brand, it's the customer service support that really shows how good a company is. Glad to hear they were willing to stand by their 3 year warranty. So many stories of tool companies giving people the run around. Why can't everyone just be like Costco?
Darn I just bought the extra foam canon and it doesn’t seem to fit the gun anymore. They extended the quick connect
How the fuck you change the baggggg
