Flight from Lancaster to Ross County Airport to get the Revo's Transponder bi-annual check performed. This has to be done by an Avionics Shop and the closest one is 30 miles away by air. Took off and met up with a Powered Parachute over Buckeye Lake. Passenger was taking Photos and Video with an SLR camera. The Revo flies twice as fast as a PPC. Hi Mike... Nice video's. I'm interested in the REVOLT. I started flight school back in the 90's up at DLZ, but when my twins boys came about I stopped flying. I was able to complete ground school and had about 5 hrs in Cessna 150 & 172. I'll be reaching out Larry for a demo ride sometime soon. BTW, I grew up in Lancaster and currently live up here in Canal. I started watching Henry and his REVO Trike many years ago and enjoy watching his video's as well. Please keep posting the videos!! I would love to swing by and check out your trike if possible. Small world, my parents meet at buckeye lake. Both graduated from Lancaster High. Just started following you guys a few days ago. Really enjoying it. One question? Why did you choose the Revo?
I got into flying trikes back in 2000 and cut my teeth on Air Creation equipment. The lack of support and everything being overseas really discouraged me from buying anything at the time. I ran into Larry Mednick at Sun & Fun back in 2009 and followed his Evolution of the Revo. The Revo had everything I was looking for. One of my requirements was a stand on floor to be able to do pre-flights easily. Also wanted GA type avionics including a transponder (for reasons you saw in the video), and it needed to go fast and be comfortable for cross country flights. The P&M, Apollo Monsoon and Delta Jet were the only ones that checked all the boxes. I flew a Revo the first time in 2014 and I was hooked. The Revo was American Made and I can pick up the phone and call Larry if I need factory support. We have been very happy with the Revo. Larry builds an excellent product.

Hi. Great video. Just a curiosity. What is this white box on the dashboard?
I fly with Foreflight on an iPad. The white box is a Stratus ADSB Receiver that gives GPS info, Traffic and Weather via wireless to the iPad for Foreflight. The MGL iEFIS in the panel can have the same capabilities I just prefer to use the iEFIS for primary flight control (Pitch, Bank, airspeed, altitude, etc.) and use the Foreflight for Navigation, Traffic & Weather. It is easier to update Foreflight with the Nav Chart cycles that come out every 28 days than the iEFIS plus I can flight plan at home and Foreflight gives me redundancy should the iEFIS fail.

Yes, We were on the radio broadcasting in the blind. We confirmed later our radio was working. Just shows the importance of keeping your head on a swivel.

About 450NM depending on conditions. Holds 14 gallons and we cruise at 2.2 gph at 75 mph.

What is the price of this Revo, and I would like to know if a pilot license is needed to fly it.
This Revo was $119,000 delivered. You do not need a private pilot's license but you will need a Sports Pilot license since this is a light sport aircraft and can carry 2 people. It is not a part 103 ultralight.
