I'm not sure, Radahn is the only boss that I've tried to no hit to the extent that I have, simply because I like the fight so much. I wouldn't say I mastered his fight, but he's probably not the hardest, imo he's pretty straight forward once you learn his moveset and how to counter it.

It's either Corvid Brood or Corvid Bile, I use both so im not exactly sure which one, I think they have the same gloves. They're the male and female plague doctor skins, they're in the same bundle

Yeah, light load is deff safer but me personally I prefer med load its just what im used and I dont like being naked I like to play fashion souls lol

@@Philly._ winged crystal is good option. I found it much easier to dodge his attacks.

It is surprisingly consistent. I think as long as you dodge the first clone attack properly, the frames will line up, so for once, input buffering is a good thing.

Watching those two moves over and over again the only difference I can see is at the end of the swing, he'll either raise his swords to go into the slam or keep his swords lower to go into the twirl. Honestly by the time that you see which way his swords are, the window for getting a punish off is already gone. The best advice i can give is to no longer try to punish the slam when it comes from the clone slams. Im sorry I couldn't be more help.

@@Philly._ Yeah thats what I figured 💀 MAYBE if you're cracked enough on that adderall with a fast weapon you could probably get the hit off the moment you recognize which combo it is. I've gotten away a few times being dumb with a delayed punish and just barely dodging out of the way but its far safer to just not punish that :P. Thank you for replying!

As much as I love the fight there are many Problems with it, and in my opinion there shouldn't be a boss that affects performance as much as Radahn does

I have a tutorial on this fight on my channel, explaining how to dodge that move. However it only talks about either using the Fine Crucible Feather Talisman/Talisman Of All Crucibles or the Deflecting Hardtear. The Deflecting hard tear is my prefered way to counter this move, but it only lasts five minutes and as you can see the fight lasts longer than five minutes, which is why you only see me use it during the second phase. How I felt like I was able to consistantly dodge this move was by sticking to his left in between his cloak and his leg, and dodging into him to his left, and it seems like you have to be really tight with your rolling. I can't tell you how many times i got killed ny that attack while trying to hug his left, I was running into the same problems as you are having where he just turns to me and hit me with the second swipe. Being inbetween the cloak and the leg was my sign that I was far enough to dodge it, but was close enough to see it coming. This Move took me a very long time to feel confident on, even if i were to fight him right now im sure i'd get blasted by it. It just takes trial an error. I hope that I explained It well enough to be some sort of help, I hope that you can eventually dodge that move consistently :)

@@BigDBrian I had no clue about that front flip tip. Definitely gonna remember that so I don’t second guess and avoid attacking on his safe ones.

It seems our goal was to just stop Miquella from achieving his. I do wish you could do a little more, but fromsoft does this with all their DLC's.

Thank you, I was so tired of getting hit by that 3 hit that it got to a point where I would say slash everytime after a combo/attack was done in my head so i was always prepared for it lol.

@@Philly._ yeah I need to start doing this too. Deflecting hardtear is definitely the way to go. Killed him only parries on my first time. Blind spot is also good for this attack combo. Saved my ass so many times lol.

@@Philly._ I was trying to use it against malenia and then I realised that it is essentially the same as blocking her attacks and that will lead to her just lifestealing tons of hp. wish they made this viable just for her boss fight.

Yeah, the dlc hits like a truck lmao

since i did my lvl 1 no hit, it was obv lasting more than 5 minutes (thats how long the deflecting hardtear lasts) so in the first phase i ended up having to do the hugging left strat, and once i got more used to it it really wasn't that bad and was actually easier then trying to back step it. I still prefer the tear though

@@Philly._ Yeah my RL 1 +0 blessings run I decided to screw the hard tear and fine crucible and just hug his left leg. It took a LONG time but I adore this fight so it was worth it.

@@Philly._ yeah. On my first playthrough of the dlc i used mimic and backhand blades but i wanted to do it without cheese even though i totally understand it for this boss. This time i used an unsheathe nagakiba but not with a bleed build, just regular damage build and stance pressure. I didnt get a single bleed proc and on most of my attempts not a single stagger since there are so few openings and he recovers his stance. On the attempt where i got it i was fortunate enough to get a stance break and that did massive dmg which is probably what saved me. Im actually looking forward to this boss again now. This boss was the hardest i’ve ever fought yet and took the most time. In total if i add the amount of time it took when i used mimic i spent like 4 hours on him. 3 hours when i didnt use mimic. Which almost double the time it took me to beat malenia without mimic.

@@RamJamDee he also took me a good amount a time before i finally beat him for the first time. His stagger seems to reset really fast, especially in the second phase probably cause he has more attacks that distances himself from you. Again though good stuff, im glad i was able to help.

The sword is the Ancient Meteoric Ore Greatsword The talismans are the Talisman Of All Crucibles, Two-headed Turtle Talisman, Axe talisman, and the Two-Handed Sword Talisman The physick tears I used are the Spiked Cracked Tear, and the Deflecting Hardtear I had 18 Scadutree Blessings and the buffs i had on me were Beastial Vitality, Golden Vow, and Black Flame's Protection but I didn't use them

oh wow i deff forgot to cover that im sorry, but what you want to do with that move like how i said in the first phase jump and keep running back, but when he does the clones he will land on the 5th slam so jump away as he slams and just keep running back. Im sorry i completely forgot that move cause I've seen it like four times lol
