There all the same. Pretty close. I like the gopro button and bottom magnetic mount and accessibility to the tripod. Neither 1 sucks.

They send it with a new and improved bracket now. Old brackets can get replaced in a replacement scheme

Can I ask you where I can find some color gel to put on top of the spotlight please? I just found the Godox VSA-11C but it's only CTO, CTB and correction for green or magenta. It's not what I want. I want compatible color gel for the Spotlight VSA 19, 26 and 36°. Thank you very much of you can help me :)

action 5 video footage always look dim. it looks like you put on sunglass. it doesn't bright up and clear image.

Best decision ive ever made is not to buy gopro. I love dji action 5. Me, i only use super night in all my videos and the results were really awesome. I dont need to worry if i go to dark places because super night will just take care of it.

Does the RTMP works for anyone? It always tells me 1. Check your network conenction or 2. Check whether the livestream was closed by the livestream platform

The 2x the framerate shutter speed rule is awful on action cameras. It causes a ton of ugly pulsing motion blur as it fights the stabilization. For any heavy digital stabilization, I'd say don't use that rule, just up the shutter speed. Use something like RSMB in post and it will look way better.

only problem with doubling your shutter speed (180° shutter rule) 5:29 , if using filters, it doesn't work, you are trying to add motion blur when the IS is trying to remove the blur so then you get jitters!. So to combat this, you need to not use the 180° shutter rule and bump the shutter up

I wish the action 5 pro had a quarter inch built in. I hate the GoPro finger mounts.

Huge disadvatage (from my experience): It will kill (literally) battery when you leave the one inside the handle for a few days (even if the handle is turned off there must be kind of voltage leakage). I bricked two baterries that way. :(

Hello there! I’d like to ask a question if possible.. I purchased the Tilta Advanced Camera Cage Kit for BMPCC 6K and it comes with the side handle. The box for the side handle says advance “advance side handle with focus motor” but I can’t find the focus ring on the item itself, just the run/stop button. I’m very new to filmmaking and I was just wondering if I am supposed to buy the focus ring additionally. Thanks so much for your time.

I pre-ordered mine on 28th Feb and collected it on 31st Aug. Now I have it and I absolutely love it. One of the best cameras I have (and I have a LOT of cameras) and I have been out and about with it all over Cornwall and London in the UK over the last month.

When managing a/b roll footage that will end up in a mult-cam sequence, do you do rough sifting ahead of time separately on both the a and b roll and then create the multi-cam and multi-cam sequence, syncing the two sets of clips by audio?

Currently in the market for this camera and I really like your take on it. For the price, they're offering a lot! Like you say, each job requires a different style of camera and rig, so to compare this to something like an fx6 is a little silly, totally different style of shooting.

Great realistic review of the $1000 (ish) cinema cart. Thanks for actually putting it through a significant long-term test and providing informed feedback from your experiences. The ProAim really seems like a great entry-level cart that will handle 90%+ of what you throw at it in basic filmmaking use. Of course they have to cut corners somewhere vs Inovativ/Yeager to hit this price point, but I see they are now manufacturing the wheel assemblies in-house per their comment, so it's good they are also willing to take feedback from the community and continue to improve their products. Have you compared it to their "Pro" series, yet? Those look a bit more robust in terms of some of the larger payloads and extreme exterior set locations that crews might throw at their gear.
